"Voice of the Masses Daily" October 7, 2004: Diamond Body Burns for Six Hours, Producing One Hundred and Forty-One Relics

Explanation of the "Third Dijie Qiang Buddha" Buddha Name#

On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Dijie Qiang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launch ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and people only then learned that the highly respected Master Yi Yun Gao and Yang E Yi Xi Nuobu Dafawang, who had been respected by everyone, were recognized by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects or the Great Living Buddhas of the world's Buddhism. The third incarnation of the Buddha Dijie Qiang Buddha, with the Buddha name as the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha, since then, people have called him "Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha". This is similar to the fact that before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Prince Siddhartha, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he changed his name to "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". Therefore, we now call him "Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha". Especially on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Dijie Qiang Buddha). Since then, the title of Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha is also the legal name recognized by the government. The previous names of "Yi Yun Gao" and the honorable titles of Master and Great Dharma King no longer exist. However, this news was published before the announcement of the Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha's Buddha name. At that time, people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha, so in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official naming of the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that except for the name of H.H. Third Dijie Qiang Buddha, which is legal, the previous names no longer exist.

Vajra Body Burns for Six Hours, Relics Obtained 141

The Great Dharma King Dorje Losang received the transmission from the Great Dharma King and made a vow to benefit sentient beings according to the guidance of his teacher. However, this extraordinary Losang displayed his supernatural powers in many places without considering the consequences. Due to the arising of karmic obstacles, he was detained by the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau in April 2001 and had no chance to study under his teacher. In July 2003, the court held a trial, but there was no conviction. At that time, he received an invitation from the Luowansi Temple in Sichuan, where he had nothing to do all day and often walked in the countryside, frequently gazing into the void, practicing meditation, and remaining silent. Unfortunately, his karmic connections with sentient beings had come to an end, and he could no longer teach the Dharma to sentient beings. As early as August 2003, Janggong Kangqin Rinpoche recorded in his memoir that Losang had clearly stated that he would leave the human realm in August of the following year and asked Janggong Kangqin Rinpoche to hide and practice the Dharma, and in the future, when there is an opportunity to benefit sentient beings, to transmit the supreme Dharma of the Great Dharma King to virtuous individuals. Don't forget, the Great Dharma King is the highest Dharma King in the world who holds the Buddha's true Dharma! Janggong Kangqin Rinpoche recorded the entire process, which was read aloud among monks, nuns, and laypeople in the United States in June of the lunar calendar year before Losang's passing, and publicly read in July of the lunar calendar year 2004 at the foundation. The Great Dharma King Losang finally passed away on the second day of the lunar calendar in August, leaving the human world.

On the afternoon of the day when Losang was cremated, it is said that various manifestations appeared, and usually the entire process of cremation only takes a little over an hour, but the cremation of the Great Dharma King Losang took a total of six hours, which is extremely rare in the world. One can imagine how extraordinary his Vajra Body was. Unfortunately, he revealed his supernatural powers too much without being cautious, and when the karmic consequences matured, he had to inform Janggong Kangqin Rinpoche in advance that he was leaving. After the cremation, 141 relics were found.
