Explanation of the "Third Dijie Qiang Buddha" Buddha Name#

On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Dijie Qiang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launch ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and it was then that people learned that the highly respected Master Yi Yun Gao, Yang E Yi Xi Nuobu Dafa Wang, was recognized by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects and the great living Buddhas of the world's Buddhism. The third incarnation of the Buddha Dijie Qiang Buddha, and his Buddha name is the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha. Since then, people have referred to him as "Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha". This is similar to before the Buddha Shakyamuni became a Buddha, his name was Prince Siddhartha, but after Buddha Shakyamuni became a Buddha, he was called "Namo Buddha Shakyamuni". Therefore, we now say "Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha". Especially on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Dijie Qiang Buddha). Since then, the title of Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha is also the name recognized by the government, and the previous names of "Yi Yun Gao" and the honorable titles of Master and Dafa Wang no longer exist. However, this news was published before the official announcement of the Buddha name of the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha. At that time, people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha. Therefore, in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official naming of the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that except for the name of H.H. Third Dijie Qiang Buddha, the previous names no longer exist.

Vajra Body Burning for Six Hours, Yielding 141 Relics#

--Dorje Losang Dharma King Buddha Land

Dorje Losang, the old Dharma King, was a disciple under the seat of Yang E Yi Xi Nuobu Dafa Wang. He displayed supernatural powers and manifested the Dharma, as recorded in the book "The Iron Record of the Holy Monk". He followed Dafa Wang as his teacher for many years, day and night without rest, without even a bed, only a cushion with him. Losang deeply received the transmission from his teacher, Dafa Wang, and with tears of gratitude, he made a vow to benefit sentient beings under his guidance. However, this extraordinary Losang revealed his supernatural powers in many places, disregarding the consequences. Due to the circumstances, karmic obstacles arose, and he was detained by the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau in April 2001. He was unable to continue his studies and practice with his teacher. In July 2003, the court held a trial, but there was no conviction. At that time, he received an invitation from the Luowan Temple in Sichuan. He had nothing to do all day, wandering in the countryside, often gazing into the void with his eyes, practicing meditation, without speaking. Unfortunately, his karmic connections with sentient beings had come to an end, and he could no longer teach the Dharma to sentient beings. As early as August 2003, Jang Gongkangqin Rinpoche recorded in his memoirs that Losang had clearly stated that he would leave the human world in the following August and asked Jang Gongkangqin Rinpoche to hide and practice the Dharma, and in the future, if there was an opportunity to benefit sentient beings, he would transmit the supreme Dharma of the Dharma King to virtuous individuals. Don't forget, Dafa Wang is the highest Dharma King who possesses the Buddha's true Dharma in this world! Jang Gongkangqin Rinpoche recorded the entire process, which was read publicly among the monks, nuns, and laypeople in the United States before Losang's parinirvana in the lunar month of 2004, and it was also read publicly in July of the lunar month of 2004 at the foundation. Dorje Losang Dharma King finally passed away on the second day of the lunar month of August, leaving the human world.

In the later period of Losang's life, lay devotee Wang Zhiying had been taking care of him. Wang Zhiying straightforwardly told him, "Dharma King, please don't leave in the summer. It's so hot, and I can't handle it." Losang also promised candidly, "Don't worry, I won't pass away in the hot weather. I will wait until August when it's cool." Losang lived a simple life, with righteous Dharma, not attached to worldly matters. Before leaving, he only said to everyone, "I'm leaving, just recite more Buddha's name." On the second day of the lunar month of August, he fulfilled his promise and passed away. The monks from Baoguang Temple rushed to his residence and escorted him to Baoguang Temple.

On the afternoon of the day of Losang's cremation, various extraordinary phenomena appeared, which were very different. The monks and laypeople who were reciting the Buddha's name each had their own special feelings about the phenomena. Some people murmured in their hearts: This Dharma King was so powerful during his lifetime, but now he doesn't look like an accomplished one at all. His parinirvana is completely different from that of a great accomplished one. Some people said that he was afraid of difficulties and suffering and did not benefit sentient beings, violating the 14 fundamental precepts of Vajrayana. Some people said that he broke the precepts and displayed supernatural powers, which are the great precepts of Buddhism. Some people said that his realization was extraordinary and truly manifested the great path. Finally, lay devotee Fachi couldn't help but stand up and publicly repent: Dorje Losang Dharma King is not an ordinary person. The impermanence he manifested is to enlighten us, but we did not generate infinite reverence and instead developed discrimination. He suggested that everyone should take this opportunity to contemplate impermanence, generate infinite reverence, and bid farewell to the old Dharma King. An accomplished one must have the auspicious manifestation of Buddha and Bodhisattvas. At this moment, many people also publicly repented. Life is like a dream, impermanence is swift, and regardless of poverty or nobility, in the end, only a smelly body remains. Everyone generated infinite reverence, recited the Buddha's name, contemplated impermanence, and made vows to pray for the well-being of sentient beings, pray for national peace and the well-being of the people, pray for favorable weather, and pray for world peace. Unexpectedly, at this time, the radiance of Mahavairocana Buddha quickly appeared and cameras and video cameras were turned on one after another. Lay devotee Guigong took three photos of the sun emitting brilliant radiance, and there was a circular emerald green pattern in the center of the sun, which was exactly the same as the emerald green on the hem of Dafa Wang's robe and hat. Seeing this manifestation, everyone was overjoyed, unable to describe their happiness.

At four o'clock in the afternoon, the fire was lit, and everyone surrounded Losang as the flames rose. Some recited "Namo Amitabha Buddha," some recited the "Heart Sutra," some recited the mantra of Lotus-born Guru, some recited the mantra of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, and some recited the Mahakala mantra. The fire circled in the furnace like a fire dragon, and the furnace burned into a fireball. But at this moment, the dignified image of Losang suddenly appeared, and the crowd became excited and spontaneously recited the Six-Syllable Great Bright Mantra. The bhikkhu in charge of the cremation, Bhikkhu Jixin, added four carts of firewood to the furnace, saying, "I have never burned so much firewood before." After a fierce fire, it was estimated that he had turned into ashes, but at this time, the head and body of the Dharma King Losang appeared, without any signs of burning. The clothes had already burned, but the head and body remained unaffected by the fire. At this moment, the author couldn't help but think of the records of Milarepa's inability to burn in ordinary fire. Today, it appeared right in front of our eyes. It is truly worthy of being the Vajra Dorje Losang Dharma King. Everyone then understood the profound meaning of the Vajra Body not being burned by ordinary fire. The Dharma King Losang sat in the fire, manifesting the realm of Mahakala, and the crowd recited the mantra loudly, requesting that the fire burn the body to obtain relics. Finally, they heard a "pop" sound, and the body of the Dharma King finally caught fire. After the recitation of the mantra and the cremation, a set of monastic robes worn by Losang during his lifetime was sent into the furnace. The furnace immediately flashed with continuous light, accompanied by a pleasant fragrance, and the crowd cheered.

Usually, the entire cremation process only takes a little over an hour, but the Dharma King Losang burned for more than six hours, which is extremely rare. It can be imagined how extraordinary his Vajra Body was. Unfortunately, he boasted too much about his supernatural powers without being cautious, and when the karmic fruition ripened, he had to inform Jang Gongkangqin Rinpoche in advance that he was going to leave. After the cremation, 141 relics were found. The manifestation of the Vajra Indestructible Body burning for six hours and the solid relics obtained completely proved that Losang did indeed learn the true Dharma of Dafa Wang. Unfortunately, he should not have left the human world, but should have stayed to propagate the Dharma and benefit sentient beings.

Writing up to this point, I think of someone saying during the cremation that Dorje Losang was not a Dharma King. We can't help but ask: If Dorje Losang was an ordinary layperson, why could he predict the time of his parinirvana in advance? Why could he burn for six hours, breaking the historical record? Why were 141 relics found after the cremation? How could an ordinary layperson possess such sacred objects? In Taiwan, for decades, only one venerable Guangqin had relics after cremation, and they were completely burned in just over an hour. Therefore, this is enough to prove that he did not possess the empty theoretical Buddhism of worldly matters, only true Buddhism can manifest such sacred phenomena. From this, we can't help but think again, usually, we all say "Buddhism is hard to seek, the true Dharma is hard to encounter," and now, the true Dharma of Dafa Wang has manifested the accomplishment of his disciples one by one. Shouldn't we think about how to face life and death?
