Explanation of the "Third Dijie Qiang Buddha" Buddha Name#
On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Dijie Qiang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launching ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and it was then that people learned that the highly respected Master Yi Yun Gao, Yang E Yi Xi Nu Bu Dafa Wang, had been certified by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects in the world as the third incarnation of the Buddha Dijie Qiang Buddha, with the Buddha name being the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha. From then on, people started calling him "Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha". This is similar to before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Siddhartha Gautama, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he was called "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". Therefore, we now say "Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha". Especially on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Dijie Qiang Buddha). Since then, the title of Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha is also the legal name recognized by the government, and the previous names of "Yi Yun Gao" and the honorable titles of Master and Dafa Wang no longer exist. However, this news was published before the announcement of the Buddha name of Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha, when people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha. Therefore, in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official naming of the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that, except for the name of H.H. Third Dijie Qiang Buddha, which is legal, the names used before the official naming no longer exist.

(Reporter Song Wenwen/Seattle Report) Everyone will eventually die, but how one dies is a profound question. The passing of Liu Huixiu, a Buddhist disciple, on August 6th was astonishing because she peacefully left this world, which is a state that only advanced practitioners can achieve in the Buddhist community. Her husband, Lin Yongmao, gratefully said that his wife's extraordinary physical transformation and peaceful passing were all attributed to the teachings and secret handprints of their spiritual master, Master Yi Yun Gao.
According to Liu's husband, Lin Yongmao, he and his wife converted to Buddhism under the guidance of Master Yi Yun Gao three years ago. However, at that time, his wife Huixiu was suffering from cancer and had visited many doctors and tried various treatments, but to no avail. On July 9th, Master Yi Yun Gao gave a sermon at the Bodhi Monastery, predicting that a female disciple would soon undergo a physical transformation and ascend to the Pure Land. On the evening of August 5th, when Lin's wife's body was weak and seemed to be on the verge of death, she slept until three o'clock. When she woke up, she told her husband that she had just been to the Pure Land, which was incredibly beautiful and indescribable. Lin Yongmao asked his wife, "Who took you to the Pure Land?" She replied, "I don't know." He asked again, "How did you go there?" She answered, "I flew there on a mat!" He asked again, "How beautiful is the Pure Land?" She replied, "There are mountains and water, it's indescribably beautiful!" She didn't let him ask any more questions and quickly resumed her meditation.
At five o'clock in the morning, Lin's wife woke up again and said, "I'm leaving! I'm going to the Pure Land in the West!" Then she sat in the lotus position and formed the handprint for ascending. After about half an hour, Lin Yongmao saw that his wife had passed away and entered the intermediate state. He immediately called the spiritual master, but to his surprise, the master laughed and said, "Nonsense! That's not true! The time for the Buddha and Bodhisattvas to receive her hasn't come, so how could she leave!"
Sure enough, Liu Huixiu, who had already entered the intermediate state after eight o'clock, returned to the human world with her eyes open and did not pass away until 9:55. At that time, a colorful auspicious cloud appeared in the sky, dissipating towards the Western Pure Land. It lasted for more than an hour before dispersing. The monks at the Bodhi Monastery saw the beautiful auspicious cloud in the sky at that time and captured it with a camera. It happened to be Liu Huixiu's fiftieth birthday that day. After discussing with their family, they decided to preserve her body in a sitting position and not cremate it.
