Explanation of the "Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" Buddha Name#
On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launch ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and it was then that people learned that the highly respected Master Yi Yun Gao and the Supreme Dharma King Yang Yi Yeshe Norbu, who had always been respected by everyone, were recognized by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects in the world as the third incarnation of the Buddha Dorje Chang, with the Buddha name being the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha. Since then, people have been calling him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". This is similar to the fact that before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Prince Siddhartha, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he was called "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". Therefore, we now say "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". Especially on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha). Since then, the title of Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha is also the legal name recognized by the government, and the previous names of "Yi Yun Gao" and the honorable titles of Master and Supreme Dharma King no longer exist. However, this news was published before the announcement of the Buddha name of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, and at that time people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha. Therefore, in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official naming of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that except for the name of H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, which is legal, the names used before the official naming no longer exist.
Female Dharma King Awang Norbu Pamo Empowers and Transmits Teachings to Great Living Buddhas#
(Taipei News) The famous Vajra Hayagriva in the history of world Buddhism, born in the snowy region of Tibet and now residing in the United Kingdom, the female Dharma King Awang Norbu Pamo, known for her beauty, on February 4, drove to the International Cultural Foundation of Master Yi Yun Gao in Los Angeles, USA to empower and transmit teachings to the great living Buddhas and great Dharma masters from North America, Tibet, and Taiwan. The divine power was manifested on the spot, and the living Buddha masters all prostrated themselves in reverence to this noble female Dharma King. Losang Jampel Gyaltsen, the chairman of the American Esoteric Buddhism Association, said to everyone, "I have lived for decades and have never seen such a great Buddha Mother. Pamo's Dharma is supreme, her practice is flawless, and her realization, virtue, and capacity are beyond what I have seen during my many years in Tibet."
Awang Norbu Pamo, who is highly respected in the world, is truly the beautiful goddess of the snowy region. She stands tall at 1.8 meters, and everyone who has had the fortune to see her prostrates themselves in awe. She gave empowerments and transmitted teachings to the great living Buddhas and great Dharma masters present. When Awang Norbu Pamo gave her teachings, she expressed her religious views, saying, "Buddhism is a teaching of compassion for all sentient beings, but nowadays, religions have become obstacles in this chaotic world. It is not that the essence of religion has changed, but that religions have been contaminated. Various evil views and wrong teachings are disguised as religions, causing chaos in all directions. This is exactly what the Buddha called the 'Dharma-Ending Age'. For example, Falun Gong has nothing to do with Buddhism and is full of nonsense. Many people mistakenly believe it is an authentic teaching, leading to the destruction of families and the loss of lives. Similarly, many qigong masters, in various forms, harm humanity and confuse people. The appearance of these wrong teachings in genuine Buddhism is like a deception."
When asked by reporters to express her views on China's crackdown on Falun Gong and her views on the Dalai Lama, Awang Norbu Pamo said, "I must say from my conscience that it is necessary for China to crack down on Falun Gong. If not, orthodox teachings will be difficult to stand, and wrong teachings will run rampant and destroy the world. Just like terrorists like Osama bin Laden, they bring disaster to the country and the people. If they are not eliminated, the whole world cannot be at peace. The action taken by the US government to eliminate him is a wise and correct decision. When the Bamiyan Buddhas in Afghanistan were destroyed, and today Osama bin Laden is eliminated, it clearly shows the manifestation of cause and effect. As for the Dalai Lama, he fled in his early years and his cultivation in Buddhism is definitely incomplete. Especially in Tibet, which I understand very well, it has indeed developed very quickly, and the lives of the Tibetan people have improved. As a Buddhist, I am very happy for them. My views are absolutely different from those of the Dalai Lama. First of all, in terms of knowledge and insight, I advocate the state of great compassion and great kindness based on reality and practicality. As for practice, it should be based on the realization of actual attainment. Buddhism should be scientific, and the concept of emptiness and existence is the benefit of practitioners. Empty and profound teachings are nothing more than illusory illusions. I hope for peace in the world! May all beings be auspicious!"
After giving her teachings, Awang Norbu Pamo empowered and transmitted teachings to outstanding female living Buddha Akouna Momo Rinpoche from the snowy region of Tibet, the only Chinese-speaking Geshe Losang Jampel, the renowned living Buddha in the American Esoteric Buddhism Association, Venerable Hong'an, the abbot of the Qingliang Mountain Temple in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and the Caucasian Tibetan Esoteric Living Buddha Bodhi Wintu Rinpoche. The divine power was manifested on the spot, and all these great living Buddhas and great Dharma masters were filled with joy and admiration, prostrating themselves in reverence.
