Explanation of the "Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" Buddha Name#

On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launch ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and people only then learned that the highly respected Master Yi Yun Gao, Yang E Yi Xi Nu Bu Dafa Wang, has been certified by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects in the world as the third incarnation of the Buddha Dorje Chang, with the Buddha name being the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha. Since then, people have been calling him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". This is similar to before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Siddhartha Gautama, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he was called "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". Therefore, we now call him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". Especially on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha). From then on, the title of Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha was officially established. Moreover, the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha is also the legal name recognized by the government, and the previous names of "Yi Yun Gao" and the honorable titles of Master and Dharma King no longer exist. However, this news was published before the official announcement of the Buddha name of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, at that time people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha, so in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official naming of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that except for the name of H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, which is legal, the previous names no longer exist.

Willing to Sacrifice Life Without Changing Heart, Achieving the Body of Liberation#

On September 29, the famous ancient temple Baoguang Temple in Xindu, Sichuan, China held a grand cremation ceremony for the disciple Wang Duchuan, a disciple of the Venerable Yun Gao. After the cremation, 225 solid relics were found. Mr. and Mrs. Wang Duchuan are both university professors. After their retirement, they were able to study Buddhism under the guidance of Venerable Yun Gao, and they were devout and diligent. After Venerable Yun Gao left Chengdu, Professor Wang and his wife voluntarily requested to stay at the temple.

During this period, some kind-hearted people advised them to go home, and some people came to threaten and entice them, but they were not moved at all. Professor Wang said: No matter how some people slander and defame, I only believe in facts. Although I have only been with the master for a few years, the master I have seen is a kind, upright, and compassionate saint. The master always puts the interests of the public first, and is willing to suffer and work hard to ensure the peace and happiness of sentient beings. The master's teachings are profound and flawless, and all that he teaches us is how to practice virtue. Where is there any of the things they slander? I am a professor, a Buddhist, I do not lie, and I cannot betray my conscience. I will only be loyal to my master and never become a despicable person who deceives the master and destroys the ancestors! Therefore, over the years, no matter the wind or rain, no matter the rumors or threats, they have never left the temple until their house was demolished by bulldozers due to urban construction, and they tearfully bid farewell to this place.

A few months ago, Professor Wang showed signs of illness. Even in his illness, Professor Wang became more diligent in studying the Buddhism taught by Venerable Yun Gao. On September 24, Professor Wang said: "Master, I can't wait for you to come back, I'm leaving." On the afternoon of September 26, Professor Wang passed away peacefully, without any pain, lying on his right side facing the Buddha image. At that time, the top of his head became hot, and in an instant, it opened and formed a triangular shape, about three centimeters long and two centimeters wide. On the morning of the 27th, when Venerable Jixin, the abbot of Baoguang Temple, was preparing the shrine for Mr. Wang, the joints of Mr. Wang's hands and feet were still soft. After Venerable Jixin verified it, he said: it has been achieved, solid relics will definitely be burned.

Starting at 4:30 pm on the 29th, the recitation of mantras began. Just before that, nectar fell from the sky, and it continued for a while after the fire was lit. During the entire cremation ceremony, many sacred phenomena appeared. Some people saw a golden Buddha statue smiling, some saw a golden body Arhat in Professor Wang's abdomen, wearing a monk's robe. Some saw Buddha light, some saw the sun and moon shining together, and even people who don't study Buddhism saw mantras arranged in text... At that time, the people present suddenly heard the sound of Venerable Yun Gao chanting the Six-Syllable Great Bright Mantra from a distance, which merged with the sound of chanting Buddha. After the cremation ceremony, a total of 225 solid relics were collected.

What does this great news tell us? It completely demonstrates that a Buddhist disciple who corresponds to the three realms of existence has ultimately achieved liberation! On the other hand, what is the fate of those who deceive the master and destroy the ancestors?
