In view of Lai Yongjian's sincere repentance for his impure behavior of impersonating the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche and deceiving sentient beings, he requests forgiveness from all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Dharma Protectors. He vows to become a good person and benefit sentient beings, and his aspiration to transform from evil to good is worthy of celebration. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are inherently compassionate, and it is their wish to stay in the world for a long time and benefit sentient beings. Therefore, it is hoped that prayers can be offered for him.

Attachment: Lai Yongjian's Repentance Letter
Namo Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche!
Greetings to the venerable members of the office!
I am a deluded sentient being who foolishly imagined myself to be a disciple of the greatest Buddha in my old age. Due to the countless evil deeds I have committed since beginningless time, my ignorance has obscured the light. Although in this life, I have had the fortunate opportunity to encounter the teachings of the great Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche and listen to the sublime Dharma teachings, I have not sincerely listened and applied the teachings. My negligence cannot be described as anything less than fishing for three days and drying nets for two. Even if I have listened to the teachings of Rinpoche, I have not understood the meaning of the Dharma. I cannot be considered a practitioner nor do I have the qualifications to claim myself as one.
Due to the accumulation of negative karma over countless lifetimes, my ignorance and confusion persist. It is the result of cause and effect that I have come to realize the severity of my heinous deeds after reading the office's sixth announcement. How can I still consider myself a human being when the human world is primarily based on goodness, while I am entangled with selfishness, obstacles, and negative karma? I should leave this world as I am no longer worthy to face all the sincere Buddhist practitioners. Your prayers for me to be reborn in the Pure Land are because you are disciples of the Buddha, rooted in compassion. But how can I, a deceiver, face the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the Pure Land? I know that I will experience the consequences of my actions. I am probably the only one in the world who is foolish enough to mislead others using the name of the great Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche. I registered an account on Yahoo and invited everyone to chat, insulting the sacred status of the Buddha and deceiving sentient beings. I am truly despicable and foolish! Fortunately, in recent years, through listening to the sublime teachings of the great Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche and the guidance of the venerable members of the office, I have come to understand that I will inevitably face the consequences of my evil deeds. Cause and effect will not be mistaken. I know I was wrong! I will not commit such foolishness again. I pray that all beings in the three thousand great thousand worlds, as well as myself, will learn from my example and avoid committing the same negative karma. In the infinite future, if I can, I will definitely protect and guide all beings on the path of practice, avoiding any wrong cause and effect. Because the consequences of negative karma are painful, and cause and effect will not be mistaken. I offer my deep blessings. If practitioners and sentient beings wish to attain liberation and wisdom, and do not want to suffer the consequences of their foolish and negative karma like me, I pray that you can quickly contact Dharma centers around the world. The virtuous teachers in the Dharma centers are your servants and will wholeheartedly guide you to listen to the Buddha's teachings and help you cultivate both blessings and wisdom, leading you on the path to liberation and accomplishment.
Although I cannot be considered a practitioner nor do I have the qualifications to claim myself as one, and I have committed such grave negative karma, I will sincerely repent and request forgiveness from all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Dharma Protectors. I will completely correct my wrong views and erroneous understanding. I request the protection of cause and effect and the Dharma Protectors to give me a chance. I will definitely become a good person and diligently listen to the sublime teachings of the great Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche, following the teachings to attain liberation and benefit oneself and others. If I can benefit others, all merits will be dedicated to sentient beings. I pray that the great Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche and all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will permanently stay in this world, turning the Dharma wheel, and admonishing all practitioners and sentient beings to swiftly realize the ultimate enlightenment.
I humbly beseech the great Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche to forgive and save this pitiful and foolish sentient being after I have experienced the consequences of my actions. May I have the opportunity in the future to receive the teachings of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and bear the responsibility of the Buddha, liberating all sentient beings.
A sinful sentient being, Lai Yongjian, humbly presents this repentance.
