The World Buddhist Headquarters, Holy Relics Temple, Huazang Temple, Charity Temple, and Shengge Lecture Hall jointly hosted two large Buddhist ceremonies in Southern California on the 14th and 15th, where thousands of Buddhist followers from across the United States and around the world gathered to celebrate the Buddha's birthday and pray for world peace.

The celebration of the 3rd Gyalwa Karmapa's birthday was held at the Glendale City Hall Auditorium, with a full house and a grand atmosphere. The President of the World Buddhist Headquarters, Venerable Mochizun, the Director of the Office of the 3rd Gyalwa Karmapa, Venerable Langbo Zhamang, Vice President of the World Buddhist Headquarters, Venerable Zhengda Jiaozun, and the Abbot of Huazang Temple, Venerable Ruohui Ruzun, attended the ceremony.
The Office of Gyalwa Karmapa organized and published the fourth volume "Teachings in the East," the fifth volume "Journey to Taiwan," and the sixth volume "Journey to the United States" of the "Collection of Scriptures" at this ceremony, meeting with the public. This is the reprint and publication of the new edition of the Gyalwa Karmapa's teachings after the 2023 "Collection of Scriptures" ceremony.
Venerable Langbo Zhamang expressed in his speech that the 3rd Gyalwa Karmapa imparts the essence of the original Buddha's teachings to the world in simple and understandable language for modern people. The Gyalwa Karmapa's Collection of Scriptures is also the second global collection of Buddha's teachings, aiming to help followers understand the Dharma in a simple and understandable way.
After the ceremony, the followers also participated in the blessing activities, receiving blessings from the high monks, praying for disaster relief, obstacle removal, auspiciousness, and well-being.
