Explanation of the "Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" Buddha Name#
On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launching ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and it was then that people learned that the highly respected Master Yi Yun Gao, Yang E Yi Xi Nu Bu Dafa Wang, had been recognized by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects in the world as the third incarnation of the Buddha Dorje Chang, with the Buddha name being the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha. Since then, people have been calling him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". This is similar to before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Prince Siddhartha, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he was called "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". Therefore, we now say "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". Especially on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha), and since then, the title of Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha is also the legal name recognized by the government, and the previous titles of "Yi Yun Gao" and Master, Supreme Holder Dafa Wang no longer exist. However, this news was published before the announcement of the Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha's Buddha name, and at that time people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha. Therefore, in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official recognition of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that except for the name of H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, which is legal, the names used before the official recognition no longer exist.

February 6, 2006, Monday, World Journal
Congratulations from politicians, affirming the master's contribution to American cultural diversity and values
[Reported by Jiang Zhihui, World Journal, San Francisco] The "Yi Yun Gao Master World Treasure-level Achievement Exhibition" organized by the Yi Yun Gao Master International Cultural Foundation will be held in San Francisco from February 5th to February 27th. Many politicians attended the opening ceremony on the 5th to congratulate the event.
Yue Yinliang, Speaker of the State Assembly, Ma Shiyun, San Francisco City Councilor, Mark Chunch, Councilor of the First District of San Mateo, Xie Hanping, member of the California Asian Pacific Affairs Commission, Liu Shaohan, Director of the San Francisco Office of the California Federal Senator Van Staden, and others attended the event to congratulate.
Dong Jiling, Deputy Secretary of the Minority Development Commission of the U.S. Department of Commerce, sent a congratulatory message, congratulating the successful exhibition and affirming the master's contribution to American cultural diversity and values.
He Jiali, on behalf of Los Angeles County Mayor Antonovich, sent a congratulatory message, commending the master's achievements in art and contributions to the Chinese community. Jiang Junhui, member of the California Tax Commission, presented a commendation on behalf of the commission. California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger also sent his regards.
This exhibition is the largest-scale exhibition of Master Yi Yun Gao in the United States. Master Yi Yun Gao is a Buddhist Dharma King. Recently, due to the maturity of his karma, he publicly announced his Dharma name as "Yang E Yi Xi Nu Bu Yun Gao Dharma King". Many politicians personally welcomed him when he visited Taiwan many years ago, including former National Security Secretary General Jiang Weiguo, former Presidential Office Secretary General Jiang Yanshi, former Premier Tang Fei, and former Chief of the General Staff Liu Heqian.
This exhibition features 18 rare artistic treasures, including rhinoceros carving, three-dimensional painting, calligraphy, jade tablets, stained glass, and more, totaling more than 200 pieces.
Rhinoceros carving is a unique technique created by the master. The work "Stone in the Mist" seems to show the presence of mist within the sculpture. The three-dimensional paintings are also quite special, with the master showcasing layers through unique techniques. Chinese painting combines ancient and modern techniques from China and abroad. For example, the painting "Mighty Lion" depicts the majesty of the lion without being fierce, with consistent hair thickness, skillfully combining freehand brushwork and meticulous techniques. It once set a record price of over 2.12 million US dollars in the international auction market, making it the highest-priced work by a Chinese painter in the Pacific region.
Mark, Councilor of the First District of San Mateo, accepted an interview with this newspaper and said that the master's works are unique and rarely seen, not only beautiful but also inspiring.
Ma Shiyun said that this is an amazing artistic creation. Her mother has been engaged in art education for more than 20 years, so she has been exposed to art since she was young. The master's works have left a deep impression on her. She has also tried artistic creation herself, but she feels that she belongs to the left-brained type and is more suitable for analytical thinking like her father.
Yu Yinliang is quite curious about the master's technique and wants to know how the master gets inspiration for his creations and how he completes such beautiful works.
