Explanation of the "Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" Buddha Name#
On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launch ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and it was then that people learned that the highly respected Master Yi Yun Gao, Yang E Yi Xi Nu Bu Dafa Wang, was recognized by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects in the world as the third incarnation of the Buddha Dorje Chang, and his Buddha name is the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha. Since then, people have referred to him as "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". This is similar to the fact that before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Prince Siddhartha, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he was called "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". Therefore, we now say "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". In particular, on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha), and since then, the title of Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha is also the legal name recognized by the government, and the previous names of "Yi Yun Gao" and the titles of Master and Supreme Dharma King no longer exist. However, this news was published before the announcement of the Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha's Buddha name, and at that time people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha, so in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official naming of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that except for the name of H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, which is legal, the names used before the official naming no longer exist.

Announcement#
Since the announcement of our four institutions seeking to replicate the artistic works of Master Yi Yun Gao, many enthusiastic individuals have called to inquire about other related matters regarding the replication. In order to facilitate the understanding of other related matters regarding the replication for those who are interested in participating, we hereby provide the following answers:
-
Regarding the legal responsibility for replication
Just as our announcement is public and naturally has legal effect, as long as a person, without damaging the original work, replicates a work that is exactly the same as the original, it is considered a successful replication, and we will pay a prize of twelve million US dollars to the institution or individual who successfully replicates it. -
Regarding the replication process
The entire replication process is divided into the following stages:-
Registration stage
We welcome any institution or individual who is interested in replication to participate. In order to comply with US law, individuals who register to participate in replication must meet the following qualifications:
(1) Be able to work legally in the United States;
(2) Possess carving, artistic, or replication skills (when providing relevant certificates, qualifications, or works). -
Observation of the original work and signing of the agreement stage
After completing the registration procedures, we will arrange a time for all participants in the replication to observe the original work together. If they decide to replicate it, both parties will formally sign a replication agreement. After the agreement is signed, a time and venue will be arranged to enter the replication stage. -
Specific replication stage
After the replication agreement is formally signed, neither party is allowed to withdraw without authorization, and those who are unable to complete the replication or wish to withdraw midway must sign the acknowledgment of unsuccessful replication before they are allowed to withdraw. Moreover, during the replication process, the original work must not be damaged. If the actions of the replicator during the replication process cause damage or changes to the form, color, gloss, transparency, etc. of the original work, the replicator will bear the corresponding responsibility according to the agreement. In order to prevent the replicator from damaging the original work, before the formal replication, we first provide a small work for the replicator to replicate. The area is approximately about two percent of the original work, and the complexity is only about one-tenth of the original work. If the replicator damages the small work during the replication process, the replicator will be compensated according to the value of the small work stipulated in the agreement. If the replicator cannot even replicate the small work, it proves that the replicator does not have the skills to replicate the large work, and it is not recommended for the replicator to participate in the replication of the large work. If the replicator insists on participating in the replication of the large work, we will not refuse. At the same time, during the replication process, the venue will be arranged by us, and the expenses including security, venue, tools, materials, etc. will be borne by the replicator. -
Evaluation stage
After the replicator completes the replication work, we will arrange for the original work and the replica to be placed together for public evaluation. If the replica corresponds completely to the original work in terms of form, size, structural form, thickness, level variation, undulation, color and color microstructure such as color patterns, holes, dots, traces, transparency, gloss, mist, etc., it proves that the replication is successful. For example, if two identical bowls produced on the same production line are placed together, we can immediately see that these two bowls are completely corresponding and 100% identical. Therefore, the replication of artistic works is the same. Only when the replica is absolutely the same as the original work, and it is impossible to tell which one is the original and which one is the replica, can it be considered a successful replica. -
Prize awarding stage
After confirming the successful replication, we will transfer one hundred and twenty million US dollars to the account of the institution or individual who successfully replicated it within seven days, and present the replica to the replicator.
-
Here, we must solemnly point out that lawyers and notaries public are involved throughout the entire replication process, and both parties to the agreement are protected by law! At the same time, we are open throughout the replication process and welcome any news media to freely interview and report.
