After the Holy Venerable Yin Hai passed away on January 15, 2017 in California, United States, his remains were moved to the Guanyin Hall of the World Buddhist Headquarters Holy Land Temple for enshrinement. During the following month, a series of miraculous events occurred. About twenty days after the passing of the Holy Venerable, changes began to happen. Not only did the wrinkles on his face disappear day by day, but his bones and muscles became plump, his complexion became rosy like a living person, and even his beard and fingernails grew longer. He had a perfect and dignified appearance, an indestructible vajra body. After the completion of one hundred holy ceremonies, the remains of the Holy Venerable Yin Hai were sent to the Rose Hill Holy Land for enshrinement. As the ceremony began, hundreds of eagles flew low in the sky above the holy land. As soon as the ceremony ended, they flew into the clouds and disappeared. Even the staff at Rose Hill were amazed, claiming that they had never seen such a special phenomenon. The China Funeral Home even wrote a certificate to verify the deeds of the Holy Venerable.
After the remains of the Holy Venerable Yin Hai were sent to Rose Hill, a picture of his Dharma image was enshrined in front of the statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva in the Guanyin Hall of the Holy Land Temple. In the original location where the remains of the Holy Venerable Yin Hai were enshrined, a picture of his Dharma image was also enshrined on the opposite wall facing Guanyin Bodhisattva. This picture was moved from the Five Buddha Hall to the Guanyin Hall of the Holy Land Temple. These two pictures of the Dharma image were the same size and were printed and framed together.
Unexpectedly, about two years later on November 15, 2018, someone suddenly shouted in the Guanyin Hall, "It's a miracle! It's a miracle! The Dharma image of the Holy Venerable Yin Hai has changed!" At this moment, everyone noticed that the Dharma image of the Holy Venerable Yin Hai enshrined in front of the statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva appeared to be at least one-third larger than the other picture of his Dharma image enshrined on the wall. Everyone standing at the same distance from both pictures could clearly see the obvious difference in size between the two pictures. It was very obvious, and anyone could tell that the Dharma image in front of the statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva was much larger. At that time, rulers were brought to measure the length and width of the two pictures, and they were exactly the same size. It was clearly a difference of at least one-third in size, but when measured with a ruler, they were exactly the same. My goodness! How can scientists explain this?
The key is that this is openly displayed in the hall for everyone to worship and admire. It is a fact that anyone who is devout can come and pay their respects. It was at this moment that everyone suddenly realized that because this position had once enshrined the remains of the Holy Venerable Yin Hai, he once again displayed his vajra power and extraordinary miracles. Two pictures of the same size and dimensions, yet such a huge difference appeared. This is the "miraculous transformation of the Dharma image relics" left by the Holy Venerable Yin Hai for sentient beings! One can imagine the extent of the Holy Venerable Yin Hai's achievements! It was only through the great compassion of Guanyin Bodhisattva that the Holy Venerable Yin Hai once again manifested such a miraculous and holy state. The Holy Venerable Yin Hai was a great venerable monk who achieved the accomplishment of the Red Guanyin through the practice of great compassion and overcoming the ocean of suffering.
For many years, the World Buddhist Headquarters has never set up a lamp offering, but in gratitude to Guanyin Bodhisattva and the Holy Venerable Yin Hai, who constantly work for the benefit of sentient beings and pray for them, the temple has decided to start offering the Light of Wisdom Lamp from February 19, 2019. Both male and female devotees with faith and virtue can come to the Guanyin Hall, where the Holy Venerable Yin Hai has manifested his holiness, to light the lamp and pray for themselves, their families, relatives, friends, careers, health, and all happiness. Every day, the temple will have monks reciting sutras, chanting mantras, and performing rituals and prayers in front of the Light of Wisdom Lamp for you.
