Explanation of the "Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" Buddha Name#
On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launching ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and it was then that people learned that the highly respected Master Yi Yun Gao, Yang E Yi Xi Nu Bu Dafa Wang, was recognized by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects in the world as the third incarnation of the Buddha Dorje Chang, with the Buddha name being the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha. Since then, people have referred to him as "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". This is similar to before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Prince Siddhartha, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he was called "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". Therefore, we now say "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". In particular, on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha). Since then, the title of Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha is also the legal name recognized by the government, and the previous titles of "Yi Yun Gao" and the honorable titles of Master and Supreme Dharma King no longer exist. However, this news was published before the announcement of the Buddha name of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, and at that time people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha. Therefore, in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official naming of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that except for the name of H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, which is legal, the names used before the official naming no longer exist.

Criticism of the High Price of the Great Power King Venerable#
Disciples of Yi Yun Gao criticize the mentality of the critics#
Reporter Pan Mingci/Taipei report
The auction company Zhen Cang Art Auction recently auctioned the painting "Great Power King Venerable" by the internationally renowned painter Yi Yun Gao, setting a new record of 72 million New Taiwan Dollars, which has attracted great attention in the art world. Subsequently, some people claimed that this was religious art, so the price was high. However, disciples of Yi Yun Gao in Taiwan pointed out that the mentality of the critics is worthy of discussion; Professor Gu Rui Zhao, who compares art in the doctoral programs of Chung Yuan University and National Defense Medical College, emphasized that the "Great Power King Venerable" by Master Yi Yun Gao is vivid and the muscles of the Venerable are clearly visible, fully demonstrating power and beauty, and is indeed a masterpiece of the ages.
He specifically pointed out that only with a solid foundation in literature and philosophy can one possibly understand the connotation and subtlety of Master Yi Yun Gao's paintings; and to appreciate his paintings, one must spend more thought to benefit from them.
The exquisite "Great Power King Venerable" by Master Yi Yun Gao recently set the highest auction price for a living painter of Chinese paintings. After that, a certain media reported that Yi Yun Gao's paintings cannot be compared with Lang Shining's Chinese paintings with a Western flavor, and some individuals claimed that Chinese paintings made by Westerners can only sell for high prices.
Disciples of Yi Yun Gao in Taiwan pointed out that such remarks are pitiful. Purely in terms of painting, Chinese painting is not inferior to Western painting. On the contrary, due to the 5,000-year history and culture it embodies, Chinese painting is far more expressive and profound than Western painting, so the collection value of Chinese painting is higher than that of Western painting.
One disciple said that due to the faster economic development in the West in modern times, the current situation of distorting the styles of Chinese and Western paintings into an extremely unreasonable state has occurred. It is not easy for Chinese painters to have outstanding performances, but they are being unilaterally criticized by some people, which is truly lamentable. He asked, why can't Chinese painting surpass Western painting? Is it because of the Chinese people's mentality of worshiping the West?
He also pointed out that Master Yi Yun Gao's collection of calligraphy and paintings encompasses various schools and techniques, integrating his own style. He has published the "Master Yi Yun Gao's Collection of Paintings" and various other works, and has received high praise in mainland China and the United States. Yi Yun Gao has served as the president of the Chinese Society of Traditional Painting Research, and other important members of the society include Xie Zhiliu, Zhou Yingnan, Wu Zhangshu, Qian Juntang, Liang Shuming, Wan Laiming, and Zang Kejia, among other famous artists.
