Explanation of the "Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" Buddhist Title#
On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launch ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and people then learned that the highly respected Master Yi Yun Gao, Yang E Yi Xi Nu Bu Dafa Wang, was recognized by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects in the world as the third incarnation of the Buddha Dorje Chang, with the Buddhist title of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha. Since then, people have referred to him as "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". This is similar to before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Siddhartha Gautama, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he was called "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". Therefore, we now say "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". Especially on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha), and since then, the title of Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha is also the legal name recognized by the government, and the previous names of "Yi Yun Gao" and the honorable titles of Master and Supreme Dharma King no longer exist. However, this news was published before the Buddhist title of Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha was announced, and at that time people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha. Therefore, in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official Buddhist title of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha in the news. But everyone should understand that except for the name of H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, which is legal, the names used before the official title no longer exist.

Master Yi Yun Gao's All-round Genius Recognized by the United States#

Master Yi Yun Gao, who is hailed as an "all-round accomplished master," was honored with March 8th being designated as "Master Yi Yun Gao Day" by the California State Government and the San Francisco City Government in the United States. This honor is unprecedented in American society and can be regarded as a pride of the Chinese people. The news reached Taoyuan, and the disciples of the master were extremely excited, believing that it was well-deserved.
When he was young, Master Yi Yun Gao studied esoteric Buddhism in mainland China and achieved profound accomplishments in virtue and realization. He also had outstanding achievements in calligraphy, painting, and medical skills. In 1995, he was awarded the certificate of an international master of the highest level by the World Poets Cultural Conference composed of representatives from 48 countries, in recognition of his all-round accomplishments and great contributions to humanity. The Chinese government also built a master's hall for him, which was included in the national administrative system, to show the highest respect to him.
His disciples said that Master Yi Yun Gao is a well-known scholar and artist in modern times. Whether it is meticulous or freehand landscape, flowers, figures, or animal paintings, his attainments have reached the pinnacle. In the field of Buddhist studies and Buddhism, he has achieved extraordinary levels. His meticulously developed Biyu Chun and Bawang Chun green teas have also been rated as top-grade teas. In terms of medical skills, he is also highly skilled and can be described as an all-round genius.
Master Yi Yun Gao has held exhibitions in Taiwan as an outstanding painter, receiving recognition from the art world.
