He lives a very simple life and generously supports justice, good deeds, and those in need, benefiting others and providing substantial support to temples and the lives of monastics. When He was in Chengdu, China, in the era of limited supplies, whenever He was at home, there was a constant stream of patients coming to His home for medical consultations, with three hundred registrations per day. He unconditionally treated patients without charging a penny. When He encountered poor families who could not afford medicine, He even gave them His own limited supplies. Even when He was almost starving because He had nothing to eat, He refused to accept food from patients. In His poem "Entering the Universe" written in his teens, He wrote, "Three thousand illnesses come to my door, day and night I treat them all." This is the scene He described.

Mr. Pan Xiaorui said that when he and Master Xingyun went to Taiwan, Master Xingyun's living expenses and the living expenses of the monks were all provided by him. He was also the initiator and chairman of the World Headquarters of the International Buddhist Light Association. The Xilai Temple in the United States was also built by him. In 1999, shortly after H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III arrived in the United States, Mr. Pan Xiaorui invited Him to San Francisco to see the land and consider making offerings. Land and houses in San Francisco are very expensive! Mr. Pan Xiaorui first invited H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is not a member of these temples or institutions. In 2013, Mr. Pan Xiaorui visited H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III for the last time. He said that he was old and ready to pass away, and his purpose in coming was to prepare to offer a large amount of gold. It turned out that Mr. Pan Xiaorui was the deputy chief of staff of the Kuomintang and was in charge of some of the business and finance related to Dai Li. He bought a large amount of gold at that time, stored it in a Hong Kong vault, with some pieces weighing two kilograms and some weighing five kilograms. There were many of them, and he wanted to offer all of them to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. He even discussed with Guan Zhu whether to transport them by plane or by ship. The quantity was so large! H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III immediately refused all of them and did not allow him to mention the word "gold" again. In order to stop Mr. Pan Xiaorui, He told him not to make offerings anymore, otherwise it would destroy the Dharma affinity. While others are doing everything possible to mobilize believers to make offerings, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III pushes away huge offerings and keeps them outside the door! Who else can do this? Perhaps only Shakyamuni Buddha, all Buddhas in the ten directions, and H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III can do it!
H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is like this, using His Buddha nature to manifest and nurture the public, influencing others to be good people, practitioners, and those who benefit the public, which is the highest form of non-action Buddha nature.
The Buddha nature is the integration of Buddha wisdom, Buddha capacity, and Buddha virtue. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III's wisdom is astonishing, with five outstanding achievements and numerous accomplishments, reaching the pinnacle and achieving the ultimate. His holy capacity manifests the body of reward, speaks the Dharma of Tathagata, pleases Amitabha, and allows the nectar to come and save countless sentient beings. His Buddha virtue is great compassion and forbearance, free from greed, anger, and attachment, completely selfless, benefiting others in every way, and completely pure and noble, surpassing the brightness and purity of the sun and moon! Faced with H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III's Buddha nature, which is beyond the comprehension of ordinary people, what else can we say?
The only thing I can say is to ask everyone to reflect on a few questions:
Who can resist the temptation of huge amounts of gold, land, and wealth and not be greedy or attached?
Who can receive a document from the International Criminal Police Organization that is enough to clear suspicions of framing and not even look at it?
Who can make a lifelong vow not to accept offerings and yet spend 8 to 12 hours a day, sometimes until two or three in the morning, serving the public and teaching the Dharma without charging a penny?
In fact, perhaps only Shakyamuni Buddha, all Buddhas in the ten directions, and H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III can do it!
