Unexpected Buddha's Nectar Shower at the First Release of the "Heart Sutra's True Meaning" Stamp#
(Los Angeles News) The "Heart Sutra's True Meaning," which is the teaching of the third incarnation of the Dajieqiang Buddha, is about to be released in Hong Kong. According to insiders, more than 10,000 Buddhist institutions have registered to participate in the grand ceremony and first release event of the "Heart Sutra's True Meaning." The first edition of the "Heart Sutra's True Meaning" is a precious classic that has been blessed with the six types of holy water. Just sixteen days before the event, the Three-Treasure Temple in the United States held a ceremony to gather the six types of holy water and bless the first release stamp. Unexpectedly, during the ceremony, the Buddha descended and showered the "Heart Sutra's True Meaning" with a three-colored nectar.
This ceremony was held to bless the sacred Buddhist scripture, the "Heart Sutra's True Meaning," which was spoken by the third incarnation of the Dajieqiang Buddha. The President of the International Buddhist Headquarters, Lutongzan Ciren Jiaco Rinpoche, obtained a purple-golden bronze bowl from H.H. the third incarnation of the Dajieqiang Buddha and personally escorted it to the Three-Treasure Temple, where the International Buddhist Headquarters is located. In front of the Rinpoche and other masters, he handed it over to the 80-year-old Kaili Rinpoche after praying and bathing the temple. Then, the 20-year-old Gongga Rinpoche poured clean water into the bowl in front of everyone, offering the purple-golden bowl on the altar and covering it with a transparent lid. On the altar, the classic scripture "Heart Sutra's True Meaning" was placed, along with the six major practices and mantras, such as the Vajra Sutra, the Mahakaruna Sutra, and the Mahahagala, recited and practiced by seven practitioners, as well as written mantras and incense sticks. In front, there were 46 first release stamps of the "Heart Sutra's True Meaning" prepared for the blessing with holy water.
The ceremony began with Rinpoche and several masters chanting the Heart Sutra, the Six-Syllable Great Bright Mantra, and the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva's sacred mantra. Shortly after, outside the Three-Treasure Temple, a strong wind blew, thunder and rain poured, and thunder rumbled, shaking the temple. But the most miraculous thing was that the yellow banners hanging around the temple were not blown away. After a while, the thunder subsided, the wind and rain stopped, and it was as if the day had just begun, with a gentle breeze and clear skies. Auspicious clouds rolled and colorful lights intertwined. When the chanting stopped, Rinpoche Gongga was about to pour the six cups of holy water into the center of the bowl when he saw a light shining from within the bowl. To his surprise, he discovered that the Buddha had descended and left three-colored nectar in the empty bowl. The atmosphere at the event was filled with joy, and everyone approached to see the nectar in the bowl. It was red like coral, white like snow, and gray like a silver crane, with a natural form and extraordinary beauty that could not be found in the human world. After everyone's excitement and admiration, the six cups of holy water were finally poured into the nectar, becoming the seven sacred waters led by the nectar. Lutongzan Rinpoche poured the holy water onto the stamp, blessed the ink, and struck the purple-golden bronze bowl to spread the Dharma sound throughout the heavens and the Dharma realm, benefiting all sentient beings and completing the blessings and wisdom. Although H.H. the third incarnation of the Dajieqiang Buddha did not attend the ceremony in person, the countless merits of the classic scripture "Heart Sutra's True Meaning" attracted the descent of the Buddha's nectar and all the extraordinary miracles, fully proving that the "Heart Sutra's True Meaning" spoken by H.H. the third incarnation of the Dajieqiang Buddha is the most supreme and perfect Buddhist scripture, and the entire event was recorded on video.
Due to the appearance of the Buddha's nectar shower as a congratulation to the sacred scripture, the Three-Treasure Temple, where the event took place, reported the miracle to H.H. the third incarnation of the Dajieqiang Buddha in the Five Buddha Hall in Monterey Park. When expressing gratitude, H.H. the third incarnation of the Dajieqiang Buddha said, "What merit do I have? You should be grateful to Shakyamuni Buddha and Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, as the Heart Sutra is the supreme teaching of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. I am merely a humble person who can only serve you all voluntarily. Since it is a miracle inspired by the 'Heart Sutra's True Meaning,' the Three-Treasure Temple should be renamed as the 'Miracle Temple.' After obtaining the consent of H.H. the third incarnation of the Dajieqiang Buddha, the International Buddhist World Headquarters decided to permanently enshrine the altar containing the sacred bowl and the Buddha's nectar in the "Miracle Temple" for worship and blessings by virtuous men and women. May they refrain from doing evil, practice good deeds, and bring happiness and harmony to their families, as well as peace and prosperity to the nation and the world.
Although H.H. the third incarnation of the Dajieqiang Buddha did not personally participate in the practice, when handing over the bowl to Lutongzan Rinpoche, he said, "I will not attend your ceremony. I believe that the Buddhas of the ten directions will bless your ceremony because the 'Heart Sutra's True Meaning' is the Buddha Dharma of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, the most supreme and perfect scripture. It will inspire blessings."
After being approved by the International Buddhist Sangha Association, the purple-golden bowl containing the Buddha's nectar was invited to the World Buddhist Conference held on March 23 at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong. The sound of the bell was struck to pray and bless everyone, and the four photos showing the rejuvenation of H.H. the third incarnation of the Dajieqiang Buddha were also enshrined in the sacred objects room for everyone to admire.
People at the scene witnessed the Buddha's nectar descending through the roof and the crystal lid into the bowl, appearing in three colors: red coral, white snow, and silver crane.
