Hong Kong Wen Wei Po News - The "Global Buddhist Dharma Masters Conference in Hong Kong," organized by the International Buddhist Monks and Nuns Association, was held for two consecutive days on August 6th and 7th, and is an annual grand event in the Buddhist community. Representatives from mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the United States, Canada, Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Austria, New Zealand, Australia, and other countries and regions were invited to participate, with over 6,000 representatives from Buddhist temples and Dharma centers.
Record-breaking Attendance of Over 8,000 People#
The headquarters of the International Buddhist Monks and Nuns Association is located in San Francisco, USA. This is the 3rd time the conference has been held in Hong Kong, and the number of participants has been doubling each year. This year, over 8,000 people attended, setting a new record. The main purpose of this conference is to announce the certification of the Holy Record of the Buddha's Advent and the recognition of the Third Dharma King, Dorje Chang Buddha III, as the highest leader of the entire Buddhist community. The Third Dharma King, Dorje Chang Buddha III, has been unanimously recognized and congratulated by the leaders, Dharma Kings, and great Rinpoche from major Buddhist sects around the world. His wisdom achievements are the highest in history. In June of this year, the Third Dharma King, Dorje Chang Buddha III, was awarded the highest honor of the World Peace Prize by the World Peace Prize Awarding Council in the United States Congress.
