Explanation of the "Third Dijie Qiang Buddha" Buddha Name#
On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Dijie Qiang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launching ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and people only then knew that the highly respected Master Yi Yun Gao and Yang E Yi Xi Nuobu Dafa Wang, who had been respected by everyone, were recognized by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects and the great living Buddhas of the world's Buddhism. The third incarnation of the Buddha Dijie Qiang Buddha, with the Buddha name as the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha, since then, people have called him "Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha". This is similar to before Gautama Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Siddhartha Gautama, but after Gautama Buddha became a Buddha, he changed his name to "Namo Gautama Buddha", so now we call him "Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha". Especially on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Dijie Qiang Buddha), and since then, the title of Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha is also the government's legal name, and the previous "Yi Yun Gao" and the honorable titles of the master and the Dafa Wang no longer exist. However, this news was published before the official announcement of the Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha's Buddha name, and at that time people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha, so in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the name used before the official naming of the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that except for the name of H.H. Third Dijie Qiang Buddha, which is legal, the names used before the official naming no longer exist.
Wang Cheng Efen Achieves Great Success in Buddhist Studies#
Minzhu Daily, July 14, 2004, Wednesday[Reporter Xu Tingwei Taipei Report] Laywoman Wang Cheng Efen, a native of Xindu County, Sichuan Province, China, is 81 years old this year. The old laywoman relies on the practice of Guanyin Dharma under the guidance of the Vajra Master Yixi Nuobu. She is a close relative of the Vajra Master. Last year, she suddenly felt discomfort in her waist. After being diagnosed by doctors at the 47th Hospital, it was believed to be bone cancer. In March of this year, the old laywoman showed signs of the four great decompositions. On April 13, she was sent to Chengdu General Hospital by her children. After examination, there were no symptoms of bone cancer, and all indicators were normal. The electrocardiogram and electroencephalogram diagnosed no illness, and her body was healthy. However, the X-ray chest film on April 18 showed no shadow in both lungs, just a blank space. The doctors were very surprised and had never seen such a situation before. Further examination confirmed that both lungs had completely stopped working and had no breathing function. They could neither inhale nor exhale. Everyone was extremely surprised. Without breathing, wouldn't she be dead? But Laywoman Wang Cheng Efen, without breathing, was still alive and could speak normally! Someone placed a small feather in front of the old laywoman's nostrils and mouth, and indeed, after watching for more than ten minutes, the feather did not move. The old laywoman completely stopped breathing, but she was still alive and speaking normally. The doctors believed that this was a strange symptom, a miracle in the medical field and even the entire human world. The old laywoman, in this state of complete lung failure, could speak and move within a month. Of course, everyone did not understand that this was the proof of the old laywoman's cultivation of Buddhism.
After staying in Chengdu General Hospital for two or three days, Laywoman Wang Cheng Efen entered a state of great virtue and returned to the West. She told everyone that Guanyin Bodhisattva had informed her that she would be taken to the Western Pure Land. She made arrangements for her affairs, took off the Buddha image hanging on her chest and the jewelry on her hands, and distributed them to her children. She changed into a longevity robe and waited quietly for Guanyin Bodhisattva to arrive. She kept folding her hands together and reciting "Namo Guanyin Bodhisattva". She even asked the people who were chanting to kneel down and recite the holy name of Guanyin Bodhisattva, saying that the Bodhisattva had arrived. Sure enough, suddenly the people in the entire ward smelled a fragrance, and heavenly music sounded in the air. The Bodhisattva had arrived, but the old laywoman did not leave. The old laywoman told everyone that Guanyin Bodhisattva told her that her relative, the Vajra Master Yixi Nuobu in the United States, had obstructed her and asked the Bodhisattva not to take her away.
