Explanation of the "Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" Buddha Name#
On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launching ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and it was then that people came to know that the highly respected Master Yiyun Gao and the Great Dharma King Yangzhen Yeshe Norbu, who had always been respected by everyone, were recognized by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects in the world and certified by the living Buddhas. He is the third generation incarnation of the Buddha Dorje Chang, and his Buddha name is the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha. Since then, people have been calling him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". This is similar to before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Prince Siddhartha, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he changed his name to "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". Therefore, we now call him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". Especially on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha). Since then, the title of Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha is also the legal name recognized by the government, and the previous names of "Yiyun Gao" and the honorable titles of Master and Great Dharma King no longer exist. However, this news was published before the official announcement of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha's Buddha name, and at that time people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha. Therefore, in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official naming of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that except for the name of H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, the names used before the official naming no longer exist.

OAS Holds Yiyun Gao Yun Carving Art Exhibition#
Reported by Tian Bian, Washington, for this newspaperThe Organization of American States (OAS), composed of 34 countries including the United States, Canada, and Mexico, held a "Yiyun Gao Master Yun Carving Art Exhibition" at the Mario Hotel on 22nd Street in the northwest district of Washington, D.C. on the evening of July 28 (Monday). Ambassadors from various countries, U.S. senators and congressmen, and a few members of the overseas Chinese community were invited to view three Yun carving works and twenty-six photos of works created by Yiyun Gao, who resides in California. Visitors were deeply impressed by this innovative art.
Former President of Colombia and current Secretary-General of the Organization of American States, Cesar Gaviria, personally presided over the opening ceremony of the exhibition. Other distinguished guests who attended the exhibition included the ambassadors of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Colombia, Barbados, Grenada, Uruguay, Paraguay, Congressman Harry Harahan, Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Advisory Committee to the President of the United States, Professor Zu Bingmin, Assistant Deputy Minister of the Department of Commerce Dong Jiling, as well as famous painter and calligrapher Mao Rong, well-known overseas Chinese figure Rao Shi Yong, and the couple Shen Baofu. Secretary-General Gaviria praised Yiyun Gao for his high achievements in Buddhism, philosophy, and science, and therefore his high artistic realm. The Yun carving art he created is a transcendence of natural beauty, bringing joy to humanity.
Based on the reporter's actual observation and experience, Yun carving is different from traditional carving works in the conventional sense. It is an innovative art, and the materials used are also unique. It is a special resin with strong extensibility, and both the creativity and sculpting techniques are unprecedented.
There are no traces of carving in the Yun carving works, and it is even difficult to determine what phenomena in the real world the works express. Those who are accustomed to appreciating traditional sculpture art such as Rodin's "The Thinker" should carefully contemplate and appreciate Yun carving works.
Yiyun Gao's followers stated that the connotation of Yun carving works allows viewers to freely imagine. In that case, bold opinions and imaginations are inevitable. From the shape and coloring of the works, the reporter understands the content expressed by Yun carving as the microstructure of the human body. In this sense, the connotation of Yun carving is a tribute to life and a marvel at the wonders of life.
The exhibition works are divided into two categories: three original Yun carving works, "Mysterious Mist in Stone," "High Scholar Picture," and "Grand Stone Block," and the display of twenty-six Yun carving pictures.
"Mysterious Mist in Stone" is a work weighing about four hundred pounds. The exterior is dark green, and when viewed through the viewing port, the inside is a "pure white world," resembling a "cave" in geological phenomena. Through lighting effects, the misty scene inside the cave can be revealed. "High Scholar Picture" portrays towering mountains and an old man living among them; "Grand Stone Block" is truly a grand masterpiece, highlighting the ever-changing levels and colors of the giant stones.
