Explanation of the "Third Dijie Qiang Buddha" Buddha Name#
On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Dijie Qiang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launching ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and it was then that people learned that the highly respected Master Yi Yun Gao, Yang E Yi Xi Nu Bu Dafawang, was certified by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects in the world as the third incarnation of the Buddha Dijie Qiang Buddha, with the Buddha name being the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha. Since then, people have been calling him "Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha". This is similar to before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Siddhartha Gautama, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he was called "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". Therefore, we now say "Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha". Especially on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Dijie Qiang Buddha). Since then, the position of Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha is also the government's legal name, and the previous names of "Yi Yun Gao" and the honorable titles of Master and Great Dharma King no longer exist. However, this news was published before the official announcement of the Namo Third Dijie Qiang Buddha's name, at that time people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha, so in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official naming of the Third Dijie Qiang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that except for the name of H.H. Third Dijie Qiang Buddha, which is legal, the names used before the official naming no longer exist.
"Great Power King Venerable" painting sold at a sky-high price, Master Yi Yun Gao once again shocks the world of painting#
Master Yi Yun Gao's ink painting masterpiece "Great Power King Venerable" was sold at a sky-high price of 72 million New Taiwan Dollars.#
[Taipei Report] Master Yi Yun Gao's ink painting masterpiece "Great Power King Venerable" stood out at the Autumn Auction held by Zhen Cang International in Taipei on the 26th, and was sold at an astonishing price of 72 million New Taiwan Dollars, purchased by British collector Nailer, setting a new record for the highest transaction by a living artist, once again "shaking" the world of painting.
Zhen Cang Company pointed out that the painting "Great Power King Venerable" is a fine work that combines meticulous brushwork with freehand brushwork. The delicate lines outline the powerful muscles of the Great Power King Venerable, and the veins and blood vessels throughout his body are clearly visible. The eyes of the Venerable in the painting are bright and piercing, no matter which direction you stand, the Venerable can see you; the Venerable is dressed in a thin purple gauze, and the meticulous brushwork technique reaches its peak, which is breathtaking.
The expressive part of the "Great Power King Venerable" masterpiece fully demonstrates the master's realization of the true nature in artistic practice, the integration with the natural universe, and the state of becoming a saint, achieving the unity of the inner world and the natural world, embracing the vast world in the chest and encompassing all phenomena in the brush tip, with a moist and wonderful charm, a natural and sublime state, transcending the ordinary and entering the realm of the sacred. The painting is accompanied by the seal of authentication from the World Buddhist Association, personally written by Master Yi Yun Gao, and a hand-printed certificate with a golden seal fingerprint guarantee.
Master Yi Yun Gao's classic masterpiece "Shaking" Lion Group Picture, also sold at an astonishing price of 2.12 million US dollars by Zhen Cang in May this year, causing a sensation in the world of art. His painting and calligraphy art, whether in terms of elegant style, comprehensive range of categories, diverse types, or infinite techniques, has reached an unprecedented height.
People in the art world pointed out that the techniques and styles of famous artists throughout history tend to be single-minded. Those who are good at landscapes are less skilled in flowers and birds, and those who are skilled in flowers and birds are lacking in figures. However, Master Yi Yun Gao's Chinese painting art, in terms of subject matter, whether it is landscapes, flowers and birds, animals, fish and insects, or figures; in terms of techniques, whether it is meticulous brushwork, freehand brushwork, or splashed ink, he is proficient in all and excels in all, and every aspect is based on real traditional skills and innovation.
Master Yi Yun Gao's disciples pointed out that the master is a master of the five wisdoms, a master of the five perfections, and a master of the highest level. One of the five perfections is skillful craftsmanship, which enables the master's achievements in artistic painting to reach the pinnacle. In May of this year, at the historic World Buddhist Conference, a total of 2,137 eminent monks and great virtuous ones from 28 countries, 416 Buddhist organizations, associations, and temples, voted anonymously, with a voting rate of 99.6%, and elected Master Yi Yun Gao as a master of the true tradition of Vajrayana Buddhism.
In addition, in 1993, 5,612 experts from 48 countries and regions around the world jointly recognized the master as an unprecedented giant in the history of Chinese painting, and awarded him the title of super-level international master; in addition, the Chinese Communist government built a luxurious seven-gallery Yi Yun Gao Master's gallery for him, and the World Academic Institutions awarded him the crown of Eastern Art Master, and 92 universities around the world awarded him honorary doctorate and professorship titles. The governments of the United States and the city of San Francisco also proclaimed March 8, 2000, as Master Yi Yun Gao Day.
From these numerous accolades, it is not difficult to see the master's rich inner cultivation and the wisdom of a saint beyond ordinary people. Therefore, it is not surprising that his paintings can achieve such high prices. What is important is that the master said, "Everything belongs to the public, so I don't sell paintings. If something I give to someone is sold, it's sold, and it's done."
