Explanation of the "Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" Buddha Name#
On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launch ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and people only then learned that the highly respected Master Yi Yun Gao, Yang E Yi Xi Nu Bu Dafa Wang, has been recognized by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects and the living Buddhas of the world's Buddhism. He is the third generation incarnation of the Buddha Dorje Chang, and his Buddha name is the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha. Since then, people have been calling him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". This is similar to before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Prince Siddhartha, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he was called "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". Therefore, we now call him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". Especially on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha). Since then, the title of Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha is also the government's legal name, and the previous names of "Yi Yun Gao" and the honorable titles of Master and Dafa Wang no longer exist. However, this news was published before the official announcement of the Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha's Buddha name. At that time, people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha, so in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official naming of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that except for the name of H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, which is legal, the previous names no longer exist.

The Vajra Body Burns for Six Hours, and One Hundred and Forty-One Relics are Obtained
- Dorje Losang Dharma King Buddha's Journey to the Pure Land
Dorje Losang Dharma King was a disciple under the seat of Yang E Yi Xi Nu Bu Dafa Wang, displaying supernatural powers and revealing the Dharma. It is recorded in the book "The Iron Record of the Holy Monk". He followed Dafa Wang for many years to learn and practice Buddhism, day and night without rest, without even a bed, only a cushion with him. Losang deeply received the transmission from Dafa Wang, grateful and tearful, and made a vow to benefit sentient beings according to his teacher's guidance. However, this extraordinary Losang showed his supernatural powers in many places, disregarding the consequences. Due to the circumstances, karmic obstacles arose, and he was detained by the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau in April 2001. He had no chance to study and practice with his teacher. In July 2003, the court held a trial, and there was no conviction. At that time, he received a letter from the Luowan Temple in Sichuan, with nothing to do all day, walking in the countryside, often staring at the empty space with his eyes, practicing observation and meditation, without speaking. Unfortunately, his karmic connection with sentient beings had come to an end, and he could no longer teach the Dharma to sentient beings. As early as August 2003, Jang Gongkangqin Renboche recorded in his account that Losang had clearly stated that he would leave the human realm in August of the following year and asked Jang Gongkangqin Renboche to hide and practice the Dharma, and in the future, when there is an opportunity to benefit sentient beings, he will pass on the supreme Dharma of the great Dafa Wang to virtuous individuals. Don't forget, Dafa Wang is the highest Dharma King who holds the true Dharma of the Buddha in this world! Jang Gongkangqin Renboche recorded the entire process, which was read publicly among the monks, nuns, and laypeople before Losang's parinirvana in June of the lunar calendar year 2004, and publicly read by the foundation in July of the lunar calendar year 2004. Dorje Losang Dharma King finally passed away on the second day of the lunar calendar month of August, leaving the world.
In the later period of Losang's life, Wang Zhiying, a layperson, had been taking care of him. Zhiying straightforwardly told him, "Dharma King, please don't leave in the summer. It's so hot, and I can't handle it." Losang also promised candidly, "Don't worry, I won't pass away in the hot weather. I will wait until August when it cools down." Losang lived a simple life, with righteous Dharma affairs, not attached to worldly matters. Before leaving, he only said to everyone, "I'm leaving, just recite more Buddha's name." On the second day of the lunar calendar month of August, he fulfilled his promise and passed away. The monks from Baoguang Temple arrived at his residence and took him to Baoguang Temple.
On the day of Losang's cremation, various appearances and phenomena were very different and extraordinary. The monks and laypeople who were reciting the Buddha's name each had their own special feelings about the situation. Some people murmured in their hearts that this Dharma King was so powerful during his lifetime, but now he doesn't look like an accomplished one at all. His current appearance of being sickly and passing away does not qualify as an accomplished one. Some people said that he was afraid of difficulties and suffering and did not benefit sentient beings, violating the fourteen fundamental precepts of Vajrayana. Some people said that he broke the precepts and displayed supernatural powers, which are the great precepts of Buddhism. Some people said that his realization was extraordinary and he truly manifested the great path. Finally, a layperson who held the Dharma stood up and confessed publicly: Dorje Losang Dharma King is not an ordinary person. The impermanence appearance he showed is to enlighten us, but we have not generated infinite reverence and instead have developed discrimination. He suggested that everyone should take this opportunity to contemplate impermanence, generate infinite reverence, and bid farewell to the old Dharma King. An accomplished one must have the auspicious manifestation of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. At this moment, many people also confessed publicly. Life is like a dream, impermanence is swift, and whether poor or noble, in the end, only a smelly body remains. Everyone generated infinite reverence, recited the Buddha's name, contemplated impermanence, and made vows to pray for sentient beings, praying for national prosperity and people's well-being, praying for favorable weather, and praying for world peace. Unexpectedly, at this time, the radiance of Mahavairocana Buddha quickly appeared and blessed everyone. Cameras and video cameras were turned on one after another, and Mr. Guigong, a layperson, took three photos of the sun emitting brilliant radiance. There was a circular emerald green pattern in the center of the sun, which was exactly the same as the green emerald on the hem of Dafa Wang's robe and hat. Seeing this manifestation, everyone was overjoyed and couldn't describe their happiness.
At four twenty in the afternoon, the fire was lit, and everyone surrounded the burning Losang. Some recited "Namo Amitabha Buddha," some recited the "Heart Sutra," some recited the mantra of Lotus-born Guru Rinpoche, some recited the mantra of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, and some recited the Mahakala mantra. The fire spiraled in the furnace like a fire dragon, and the fire pit turned into a fireball. But at this time, the majestic image of the old Dharma King suddenly appeared, and the crowd became excited. They all spontaneously chanted the Six-Syllable Great Bright Mantra. The bhikkhu in charge of the cremation added four carts of firewood to the furnace one after another, saying, "I have never burned so much firewood before." After a fierce fire, it was estimated that he had turned into ashes, but at this time, the head and body of the Dharma King Losang suddenly appeared. However, Dorje Losang Dharma King burned for more than six hours, which is extremely rare in the world. It can be imagined how indestructible his vajra body should be. Unfortunately, he revealed his supernatural powers too much without being cautious. When the karmic consequences matured, he had to inform Jang Gongkangqin Renboche in advance that he was going to leave. After the cremation, 141 relics were found. The manifestation of the indestructible vajra body burning for six hours and the solid relics obtained completely proved that Losang did indeed learn the true Dharma of Dafa Wang. Unfortunately, he should not have left the human realm but should have stayed in the world to benefit sentient beings.
Writing up to this point, I think of someone saying during the cremation that Dorje Losang is not a Dharma King. We can't help but ask: If Dorje Losang is an ordinary layperson, why could he predict the time of his parinirvana in advance? Why could he have an indestructible vajra body and burn for six hours, breaking the historical record? Why were 141 relics obtained after the cremation? How can an ordinary layperson have such sacred objects? And in Taiwan, for decades, only one venerable Guanqin had relics after cremation, and they were completely burned in just over an hour. Therefore, this is enough to prove that he does not possess the empty theoretical Buddhism of the secular world. Only true Buddhism can manifest such sacred phenomena. Therefore, we cannot help but think again. Usually, we all say that "Buddhism is hard to come by, and the true Dharma is hard to encounter." But now, the true Dharma of Dafa Wang has manifested the accomplishment of his disciples one by one. Shouldn't we think about how to face life and death?
