Explanation of the "Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" Buddha Name#
On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launching ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and it was then that people learned that the highly respected Master Yiyun Gao and the Great Dharma King Yang'e Yixi Nuo Bu, who had always been respected by everyone, were recognized by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects and the living Buddhas of the world's Buddhist sects. The third generation of Dorje Chang Buddha, the Buddha name is the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha. Since then, people have been calling him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". This is similar to before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Prince Siddhartha, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he changed his name to "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". So now we call him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". Especially on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha). Since then, the title of Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha is also the legal name recognized by the government. The previous names of "Yiyun Gao" and the titles of Master and Great Dharma King no longer exist. However, this news was published before the announcement of the Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha's Buddha name. At that time, people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha, so in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official naming of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that except for the name of H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, the names used before the official naming no longer exist.

Tang Xie Le Hui, a resident of Xinfan, Chengdu, Sichuan, and a disciple of Yang'e Yixi Nuo Bu Dharma King, passed away at the age of 84 on August 31, 2004, the 16th day of the 7th lunar month, at midnight, guided by Amitabha Buddha to the Western Pure Land!
Tang Xie Le Hui, known as Grandma Tang to her family and friends, her whole family has been practicing under the guidance of Dharma King for many years. She often said, "My children and grandchildren have all learned the true Dharma from Dharma King, and this is the happiest and proudest thing in my life." Grandma Tang had great respect for Dharma King, and Dharma King cared for her with great compassion. Once, Grandma Tang suffered from frozen shoulder and couldn't lift her hand, in great pain. Dharma King comforted her, saying, "It's okay, I'll give you an acupuncture needle." It was winter at the time, and Dharma King gave her an acupuncture needle through several layers of thick winter clothes, and she was instantly healed! Many years later, when Grandma Tang talked about this, it was still mysterious and amazing.
One day in June of this year, she said to her family, "Last night, I saw a very tall and big Dharma protector, his face was as big as a door, and he told me that I will go to the Western Pure Land in the second half of this year." By the second half of the year, she meant from the 7th lunar month to the 12th lunar month. On August 15, which is the 30th day of the 6th lunar month, Grandma Tang showed signs of approaching death. Her family immediately reported to Dharma King, and under the care of Dharma King's power, Grandma Tang became very peaceful and calm that night. Not only was Grandma Tang peaceful, but the whole house and the surrounding garden were filled with auspiciousness. The next day, at noon on the first day of the 7th lunar month, several Buddhist disciples who came to help with the chanting saw a cloud of silk hanging in the sky. In the evening, the sky over Chengdu Basin, which had been covered with dark clouds, suddenly cleared up above Grandma Tang's residence, revealing a clear and bright night sky with stars twinkling like diamonds. It was on this night that Grandma Tang passed away.
Following Dharma King's guidance, Grandma Tang had been diligently practicing recitation and chanting of Amitabha Buddha. She only drank a little glucose water every day and took meditation as her food. She spent all her time doing her homework, reciting Amitabha Buddha and Dharma King's sacred mantra. After more than 20 days of diligent practice, her mind became clear and she could speak fluently. A fragrance emanated from her mouth, and the people around her were amazed.
On the night of August 31, around 11 o'clock, Tang Yurong, Grandma Tang's daughter, was combing her mother's hair. As she was combing, Grandma Tang suddenly turned to her right side, lying in a auspicious sleeping position, and Tang Yurong saw her mother suddenly smile, a warm current spreading over her head, and her smile remained fixed. The whole house was filled with brightness and auspiciousness. Tang Yurong immediately reported to Dharma King, and Dharma King said, "She has achieved complete enlightenment, she has accomplished it." Tang Yurong looked back at her mother and saw that her mother's complexion and skin had turned slightly red, which was a sign of being guided by Amitabha Buddha to ascend. The people present, including relatives and chanting practitioners, were excited!
On September 6, in the afternoon of the 22nd day of the 7th lunar month, Grandma Tang's body was cremated and chanted at Baoguang Temple in Xindu, Sichuan. Before the cremation, there was a blessing of Dharma rain and nectar. As soon as the chanting began, a sacred scene appeared in the cremation furnace! The crowd of people who chanted and respectfully sent off burst into applause, with cries of astonishment, tears of joy, laughter, and vows. In the roaring flames, red and blue lights kept flashing. Fire phoenixes and golden-winged birds flew out of the light, and the golden dragon protectors and the Vajra protectors stood tall. The auspicious tiger emitted light all over its body, and the golden lion spewed blue lotus flowers from its mouth and eyes. The appearance of Dharma King Yang'e Yixi Nuo Bu, the appearance of a monk, and the appearance of a master all appeared one by one. Adharma Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, Maitreya Bodhisattva, and Tsongkhapa appeared in each lotus flower, and the magnificent world of bliss and the towering Mount Sumeru also appeared at the same time! Under Grandma Tang's feet and in her hands, a double-layered lotus platform appeared, supporting her as she sat cross-legged, with a smile on her face and a blue light radiating from her whole body, merging with the light of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! The sacred scene of the Buddha's Pure Land continued to appear, and there was a thunderous applause in front of the cremation furnace. People chanted Dharma King's sacred mantra loudly with tears streaming down their faces, shouting, "Namo Dharma King Guru! Namo Amitabha Buddha! You must take my mother away in the future!" "Namo Dharma King Guru! I will definitely practice diligently with you, Namo Amitabha Buddha, please come and guide me!" "The Buddha's teachings are so great! I will definitely achieve great accomplishments!" "Dharma King Guru, your Buddha's teachings are so great, you teach one and one achieves it, you teach two and two achieve it, we see everyone achieving accomplishments, you are so great!" The memorial service for sending Grandma Tang to the Pure Land of Bliss suddenly turned into a vow-making ceremony, and many people cried and vowed to follow Dharma King to practice Buddhism and dedicate merit to their families. The Buddhist disciples who witnessed the sacred scene at the cremation site were named: Shi Xin Zhen, Shi Dao Pin, Shi Xin Lan, Shi Xin En, Shi Guang Jing, Shi Dao Zhi, Shi Ming Xi, Shi Zhi Yuan, Shi Zhi Hua, Shi Zhen Hua, Shi Zhen Lian, Shi Xin Rong, Shi Xin Gan, Shi De Feng, Shi Zhi Feng, Shi De Yu, Shi Zhi Da, Shi De Kun, etc.
On that night, a total of 263 fragrant and solid relics were selected from Grandma Tang's bones and ashes. This is truly another miracle in Buddhist history! In the vast world, life and death are the most terrifying and frightening for sentient beings, an abyss of fear that ordinary human beings can never surpass. However, now we are fortunate to see with our own eyes that life and death seem to be a piece of cake for devout Buddhist disciples who rely on and follow Dharma King Yang'e Yixi Nuo Bu in their practice, because Dharma King possesses the true Dharma of the Buddha. Under the throne of Dharma King, there is freedom in life and death, ascending to the Pure Land of Bliss, and one after another, those who have achieved extraordinary accomplishments, such as the 13th generation ancestor of Emei Mountain, the abbot of Kaifa Temple, who has freedom in life and death and an indestructible physical body, Wang Lingze, Wang Cheng Efen, Que Xiangshou, Zhao Xianyun, the holy disciple from the United States, Mrs. Malk, and Tang Xie Le Hui, among many other disciples of Dharma King, have joyfully ascended to the Pure Land of Bliss, completely leaving behind the fear and suffering of samsara. These real and tangible sacred events that are happening before our eyes make us realize a fact that cannot be doubted: the true Dharma of Dharma King Yang'e Yixi Nuo Bu is right here in this world! This is the true Buddha's teachings!
