My Statement
Today I just learned about the news online. Someone named "Liu Xianxian" said:
"Xiao Ying, don't be too happy too soon. It is said that Hu Zhiqiang's wife, Shao Xiaoling's younger sister, Shao Baoling, has heard that she 'may' have already invited the Buddhist leader, the third incarnation of Dorje Chang Buddha, together with the sister of the director of the Guanzhong Court, Long Hui, to perform a ritual that can reverse the situation for the Kuomintang's election on January 16th. Dorje Chang Buddha's ritual this time is extraordinary, sacrificing thirteen years of his own life to secure the presidency for the Kuomintang." Hearing this news, I was very shocked. I am just an ordinary bhikkhuni, a monastic, but I have been following the third incarnation of Dorje Chang Buddha for many years. I deeply understand that as a practitioner, one should treat all sentient beings equally and without bias. This is the most basic conduct for a practitioner. Here, I must solemnly say that the claim online that Shao Baoling and I invited the third incarnation of Dorje Chang Buddha to help the Kuomintang is completely fabricated and baseless. You are simplifying things too much. Can Shao Baoling and I alone invite the highest leader of world Buddhism?
However, it is true that I did invite the third incarnation of Dorje Chang Buddha. It was to invite him to the Huazang Buddhist Academy to give a Dharma talk to the monastic community before the new year. The teachings of the third incarnation of Dorje Chang Buddha are that we monastics should uphold the precepts, treat everyone equally, stay away from disputes, diligently cultivate ourselves, and be mindful of others. The Buddha's teachings are like good medicine. As a bhikkhuni, I am ashamed. How can I be negligent? I am busy with Buddhist affairs all day long. Where is there time to be entangled in worldly matters?
