The International Buddhist Monks and Nuns Association received a repentance letter from Jiang Jiarenpoche today. Jiang Jiarenpoche's ability to write such a repentance letter raises a question. The living Buddhas, masters, and venerables of today's world of Buddhism must have many mistakes when expounding the Dharma. Therefore, in the "Maharatnakuta Sutra," Shakyamuni Buddha did not agree to Ananda's request to expound the Dharma. Even when Sariputra wanted to expound, the Buddha did not allow it. How can today's living Buddhas and Dharma kings compare themselves to Ananda?
Although Jiang Jiarenpoche made a mistake in expounding the Dharma out of his sincere heart and to test everyone, he acknowledges his mistake and dares to openly repent. Compared to those living Buddhas who hide in dark corners and give incorrect teachings, Jiang Jiarenpoche is a true practicing living Buddha. Those living Buddhas who give incorrect teachings should learn from Jiang Jiarenpoche's sincere moral intention to acknowledge their mistakes and should earnestly listen to the teachings and understand the announcements of H.H. the Third Dodrupchen Rinpoche's office.
