Recently, we have received multiple reports that some Rinpoche, Dharma teachers, and other spiritual masters have set different standards and requirements for purchasing Dharma teachings, stating that a certain amount of money must be paid in order to obtain certain Dharma recordings. In response to this, the International Buddhist Sangha Association would like to make the following announcement to all temples, Dharma institutions, spiritual masters, Rinpoche, Acharya, and all devoted male and female practitioners:
Firstly, the International Buddhist Sangha Association is the only organization that provides the teachings and Dharma recordings of the Third Dharma King, Dorje Chang Buddha III. In today's world, only the Dharma recordings of the Third Dharma King, Dorje Chang Buddha III, serve as the sole guidance for practitioners to achieve liberation. The teachings and books of the so-called spiritual masters, venerables, Rinpoche, and great masters that you mentioned are filled with errors and even grave offenses, and cannot be considered as true Dharma teachings.
Secondly, Dharma recordings are not meant to be sold. Anyone who uses Dharma recordings for monetary gain, regardless of their status, is possessed by evil spirits. Practitioners should not follow or study under such individuals, as their spiritual accomplishments in this lifetime will be questionable.
Thirdly, Buddhist disciples must have correct views and show respect for Dharma recordings. Dharma recordings should be offered with sincerity and reverence. Even in the secular world, one has to pay for music and cassette tapes, let alone the supreme and extraordinary Dharma teachings that guide you to liberation from birth and death. The Dharma recordings are spoken by the Third Dharma King, Dorje Chang Buddha III, but he has not accepted a single penny for them. Instead, he uses the money from selling his paintings to support the International Buddhist Sangha Association and promote virtuous Buddhist activities. The Dharma recordings that you request are all produced by the International Buddhist Sangha Association, and there are costs involved in their production. However, the offering for Dharma recordings should be made sincerely and within one's means. For those sincere practitioners who have the intention but lack the ability to make offerings, Dharma recordings should still be provided to them, and efforts should be made to help them obtain the recordings. On the other hand, those who have the means but do not make offerings, and instead have selfish thoughts and greed for the Dharma recordings, are insulting the Buddha Dharma. It should be understood that all the resources and funds are used for the benefit of sentient beings, otherwise the Third Dharma King, Dorje Chang Buddha III, would not have donated the money from selling his paintings to us.
Fourthly, regarding the reports that the International Buddhist Sangha Association and Huazang Temple encourage believers to purchase spiritual stupas and claim to guarantee liberation for the deceased, we solemnly announce that this is completely untrue. The International Buddhist Sangha Association and Huazang Temple have never done this in the past, do not do it now, and will never do it in the future. Even if you offer a large sum of money for the liberation of the deceased through the purchase of spiritual stupas, the International Buddhist Sangha Association and Huazang Temple will absolutely not engage in such activities, as it goes against the principles of the Third Dharma King, Dorje Chang Buddha III. What the International Buddhist Sangha Association and Huazang Temple truly aim to do is to propagate the Dharma recordings of the Third Dharma King, Dorje Chang Buddha III, selflessly dedicate themselves, benefit others and sentient beings, cultivate the path of Bodhi, study and realize the holy Dharma, and attain complete wisdom and liberation from birth and death.
This announcement is hereby made.
