In response to some inquiries, the International Buddhist Monks and Nuns Association hereby makes the following special statement:
The International Buddhist Monks and Nuns Association has never published any advertisements in People's Daily or its overseas edition in any form.
We consulted the Office of the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche, and they replied that the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche has clearly stipulated that the office does not promote his own affairs in the media, but only engages in activities that benefit sentient beings. Therefore, the Office of the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche has never published any advertisements in any newspaper or other media in any form.
According to an article in the special edition of the eighth edition of the People's Daily USA Overseas Edition, it mentioned the submission of the Buddha's Voice Broadcasting Alliance. We also consulted the Buddha's Voice Broadcasting Alliance, and the person in charge said that they have not signed any agreement with the People's Daily USA Overseas Edition to publish advertisements or any other agreements. As you can see in the newspaper, the special edition published in the eighth edition of the People's Daily USA Overseas Edition is not an advertisement, but a special edition. Because it is a special edition and not an advertisement, no fees have been charged.
