On Saturday morning, June 15th, the celebration of the birth of the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche continues.
Representatives from Buddhist temples, practice centers, and organizations from around the world formed the "108 Offerings" procession, representing monks, lamas, Dharma teachers, and lay practitioners offering various exquisite ritual objects or treasures made of gold and silver. Accompanied by the sound of ancient zithers and music, the procession ascended the Dharma platform with harmonious steps, offering their offerings with the utmost sincerity in front of the image of the Buddha, expressing their reverence and gratitude to the Buddha.
After the offering ceremony, the assembly recited the "Sutra on the Meaning Spoken by the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche" and performed the "Great Offering Before the Buddha," engaging in a series of virtuous activities such as praises, offerings, recitations, chanting, and mantra recitations, praying for the Buddha to remain in the world permanently, bestow a rain of Dharma teachings, and uphold the Dharma forever.
