Explanation of the "Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" Buddha Name#
On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launch ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and people only then learned that the highly respected Master Yiyun Gao, the Yange Yixi Nobu Dafa King, who has always been respected by everyone, has been certified by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects in the world as the third incarnation of the Buddha Dorje Chang, with the Buddha name being the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha. Since then, people have been calling him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". This is similar to before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Prince Siddhartha, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he was called "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". Therefore, we now call him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". Especially on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha), and since then, the title of Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha is also the legally recognized name by the government, and the previous names of "Yiyun Gao" and the titles of Master and Dafa King no longer exist. However, this news was published before the announcement of the Buddha name of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, and at that time people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha. Therefore, in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official naming of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that, except for the name of H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, which is legal, the names used before the official naming no longer exist.

More than half a year ago, Lin Cai Chun suffered from a terminal illness. The doctor announced that she only had three months to live. Lin Yuming Qi, the fifth daughter of the Lin family, is a devout disciple of Master Yiyun Gao and believes in Christianity. Lin Fu Yuming Zhang is a scientist who believes that religion can perform miracles. In order for his beloved wife to be free from suffering, he also suffered from a terminal illness with his wife Lin Cai Chun, who was paralyzed and unable to speak. They sought to meet Master Yiyun Gao together at the sincere request of their daughter. At that time, Master Yiyun Gao transmitted the profound and wonderful Pure Land Dharma to Lin Cai Chun in front of the Lin family, and told Lin Cai Chun's family that her illness was troublesome but would be peaceful and peaceful.
Yuming Zhang told reporters that after being blessed by Master Yiyun Gao, Lin Cai Chun's pain suddenly disappeared. Although she underwent chemotherapy twice, she had no side effects like ordinary people undergoing chemotherapy. It was really peaceful and peaceful. When the doctor announced that Lin Cai Chun would not live for more than three weeks, by the second week, Lin Cai Chun's pupils dilated and she entered the intermediate state. Obviously, the scientific judgment was also based on facts. He and his daughter Yuming Qi sought to meet Master Yiyun Gao again. The master asked him what he requested. Yuming Zhang requested three things for his wife. The first was to let Lin Cai Chun leave this world without pain and be happy. The second was to ascend to the Western Pure Land. The third was to let Lin Cai Chun see all her family members after her seventy-first birthday three days later and then leave. These three things are simply impossible for ordinary mortals to achieve. When a person is about to die, the four elements decompose, and there is no exception to the pain. Who can make a person die and be reborn, and postpone death? But these three things seemed easy for Master Yiyun Gao. He decisively said, "Okay!" Especially for the third thing, the master said, "No matter how big the pupils are, it's okay to spend a birthday. Let her leave after you have everything ready." Then he took two mantras with the seed syllables of the Pure Land Dharma and gave them to Yuming Qi, instructing her to put one on her mother's head and the other on her mother's head when she passed away.
Yuming Qi followed the master's instructions and placed the mantra on her mother's head. As a result, less than two hours later, the caregiver Li Enqin from mainland China found that Lin Cai Chun's breathing became smooth, her face improved, and her dilated pupils returned to normal. She quickly told the Lin family about Lin Cai Chun's death and rebirth, and said that she often helped the deceased with chanting, but she had never heard or seen such a thing before. The next day, Lin Cai Chun's spirit recovered. Although she had been paralyzed and bedridden for a long time, she could sit in a wheelchair and offer incense to the Buddha and Bodhisattvas. In this way, Lin Cai Chun not only happily celebrated her seventy-first birthday and enjoyed the joy of family reunion with all her family members, but also overturned the scientific prediction of the doctors and lived for nine more weeks. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at 6:50 am on June 30th due to the need to remove phlegm from her throat. There were many incredible Buddhist miracles during this period. Master Yiyun Gao told Yuming Qi that after Lin Cai Chun entered the intermediate state, he would use the profound and wonderful Pure Land Dharma to guide her to the Western Pure Land. At that time, Guanyin Bodhisattva would personally come or send messengers to guide her to the Western Pure Land. Her consciousness would be able to freely enter and leave her body and would only leave after seven days of ascension.
When Yuming Zhang and his daughter met Master Yiyun Gao for the second time, Lin Cai Chun could not speak and was paralyzed, unable to perform the rebirth handprint like Hou Yushan and Liu Huixiu. Yuming Qi took a jade pendant of Guanyin Bodhisattva and asked Master Yiyun Gao to bless it. After returning home, she always wore it on her mother's chest. Yuming Zhang also changed his faith and sought to become a disciple of Master Yiyun Gao. Master Yiyun Gao immediately fulfilled his wish.
According to the accounts of the caregivers Yu Dejuan and Li Enqin who took care of Lin Cai Chun, two days before her ascension, every morning at 7 o'clock when they played the CD of chanting Guanyin Bodhisattva's holy name and Amitabha Sutra, a group of birds would fly to the window and sing. On the day of Lin Cai Chun's ascension, the birds kept singing outside the window. Yuming Qi was even awakened by the sound of birds in her sleep. Yuming Qi said that there were very few birds that would come to their house normally.
When Lin Cai Chun had phlegm in her throat on the evening of June 29th, her daughter used a phlegm suction machine to remove the phlegm. Because being suctioned is very uncomfortable, Yuming Zhang, who had already been grateful for his wife's resurrection and enjoyed more than two months of life, did not want his beloved wife to suffer from illness again. He would rather let his wife ascend to a more beautiful and better Western Pure Land without illness or pain. He believed that by learning from Master Yiyun Gao, he could also go to the Western Pure Land to reunite with his beloved wife. So at midnight, he silently went to the Buddhist hall to offer incense and pray for Guanyin Bodhisattva to come and take away his beloved wife. He said he knew he didn't have the ability to invite Guanyin Bodhisattva, so he prayed to Master Yiyun Gao to invite Guanyin Bodhisattva to come and take away his beloved wife and not let her suffer anymore. At four o'clock in the morning, Yuming Zhang offered incense again and made the same request. Yuming Zhang's request came true. At four o'clock, when the caregiver Yu Dejuan, who took over the care of Lin Cai Chun, found that her breathing was smooth and there was no need to remove phlegm, at six o'clock, Lin Cai Chun's breathing slowed down, and at 6:50, she passed away peacefully. She was 71 years old. When she passed away, her face was peaceful, like a sleeping baby. Her body had no wounds and was extremely soft, except that her mouth was open. Yuming Qi tried to support her mother's chin, but she couldn't close it.
Yuming Qi followed the master's instructions and placed the ascension mantra on her mother's head. In the afternoon of the 30th, Master Yiyun Gao performed the Dharma to guide her mother. Yuming Qi prayed to her mother in front of her body, asking her mother to close her mouth and smile if she received a message from Guanyin Bodhisattva or if Guanyin Bodhisattva sent a messenger to notify her of her ascension to the Western Pure Land, so that her family could be at ease. About two hours later, Yuming Qi, caregiver Li Enqin, and Yu Dejuan all saw that Lin Cai Chun's face changed from grayish-white in the early morning to rosy, and her lips and cheeks were red. Her mouth was closed, and she had a smile on her face. All three of them saw the same thing and were amazed. They informed other members of the Lin family, and the whole family was filled with joy. What the master said that the consciousness remains within seven days after entering the intermediate state was completely fulfilled when her consciousness responded to her daughter's request by coordinating her body's movements. Another remarkable phenomenon was that from 9 am to 5 pm, the CD of Guanyin Bodhisattva's holy name, which used to have to be pressed every hour to replay, played continuously for nine hours without stopping.
Two days later, when the family changed Lin Cai Chun's clothes, they found that the Guanyin Bodhisattva jade pendant that had been blessed by the master had moved to Lin Cai Chun's chest, clearly appearing on her body. The other jade pendant had no trace. When the two were compared, Yuming Zhang was shocked and realized that Master Yiyun Gao's Buddhism is truly a rare treasure.
Eight days after Lin Cai Chun's ascension, a farewell ceremony was held. Her body was incredibly soft and unimaginable. Relatives and friends viewed her remains and felt that her complexion was rosy and her expression was peaceful, like a sleeping noble lady. Yuming Zhang smiled and reported the entire remarkable process and the fulfillment of all requests to Master Yiyun Gao at the farewell ceremony. The family members at the venue were not mournful but filled with joy and gratitude. Yuming Zhang was full of smiles and talked and laughed.
The two caregivers, Yu Dejuan and Li Enqin, who originally believed in Buddhism, witnessed the various remarkable events of Lin Cai Chun's ascension and received profound education. They realized that they came to the Lin family as caregivers arranged by the Buddha and Bodhisattvas to have the opportunity to come into contact with such a remarkable Dharma. Therefore, they both vowed to seize the time to cultivate and learn the Dharma. They also joined the Lin family to meet Master Yiyun Gao and seek refuge and learn the Dharma.
Master Yiyun Gao told Yuming Zhang that there are two types of profound and wonderful Pure Land Dharma. One is the ascension Dharma that guarantees ascension to the Western Pure Land, and the other is the longevity Dharma that can bring health and longevity. Yuming Zhang said that he wants to live longer so that he can do more Buddhist activities, so Master Yiyun Gao transmitted to him the longevity Dharma that can bring health and longevity.
