The World Buddhist Headquarters, Holy Miracles Temple, and Holy Grace Hall jointly held the "Welcoming the Birth of Amitabha Buddha Ceremony"
(Reporter Cheng Guo'er / Los Angeles Report) The Holy Miracles Temple in Pasadena, Southern California, held the "Welcoming the Birth of Amitabha Buddha Ceremony" in celebration of the birth of Amitabha Buddha, jointly organized by the World Buddhist Headquarters, Holy Miracles Temple, and Holy Grace Hall, inviting the Vice Chairman of the World Buddhist Headquarters, Honorary Chairman of the International Buddhist Monastic Association, Master Jin Kou Er Duan Sheng De Zheng Da to preside over the ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by hundreds of devotees from various regions in California and abroad.
The ceremony officially commenced at 10 AM in the main hall of the Holy Miracles Temple, with hundreds of devotees from various regions in California and abroad lining up to respectfully welcome Sheng De, the Dharma Masters, and the leading monks into the hall. The atmosphere was solemn and reverent. As the sound of bells and drums resonated, Vice Chairman Jin Kou Er Duan Sheng De Zheng Da took his position to preside over the ceremony, and under the leadership of the Abbot of Huazang Temple, Jin Kou Yi Duan Sheng De Ruo Hui Ru, along with the monks and Rinpoche, the devotees recited the "Amitabha Sutra," chanted the Buddha's name and sacred mantras, and performed a grand offering before the Buddha, expressing their utmost reverence for Amitabha Buddha. They wished that the merits of the ceremony's chanting, praises, and offerings to the Buddhas would bless the Buddha's birthday with auspiciousness, and prayed that Amitabha Buddha and all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas would bestow blessings, allowing all beings to increase their blessings and longevity, eliminate disasters and difficulties, and bring peace to the world and well-being to the people.
During the ceremony, Ms. Tan shared: "Since I started learning Buddhism, through gradually learning the teachings of the Third Dharmakaya Buddha, I have corrected my behavior and thoughts, and have gradually seen changes in myself. The benefits gained from practicing Buddhism are incredible, and I am very grateful to have walked into the door of the right Dharma on this long journey of life. It is hard to express in words the immense benefits I have received from the teachings of the Third Dharmakaya Buddha and the 'Complete Collection of Sutras.' I sincerely hope everyone can come close to the Dharma, practice Buddhism, and share in the benefits of the teachings!"
At the end of the ceremony, Master Jin Kou Sheng De Zheng Da and Ruo Hui Ru sprinkled blessed water on the attendees. The Amitabha Buddha's birthday ceremony concluded successfully, but the blessings and inspirations brought to the attending devotees were firmly established in everyone's hearts.
