(World Buddhist Headquarters, Seokgat Temple, Huazang Temple, Charity Temple, and Shengge Lecture Hall jointly hosted the welcoming ceremony of the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche's birthday and Dharma assembly at the Glendale City Hall in Los Angeles County.
Over a thousand Buddhists and laypeople from various states in the United States, Canada, Germany, China, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and other countries participated.
The ceremony began with the ringing of bells and drums and the chanting of the mantra of the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche by thousands of people. Ven. Longbo Zaimang, the director of the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche's Office, and three other venerables presented the newly published "Collected Works of the Kangyur" volumes four, five, and six, "Teachings in the East," "Journey in Taiwan," and "Journey in the United States," on the scripture table and offered them before the Buddha. This marks the reprint and publication of the teachings of the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche following last year's "Collected Works of the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche" Dharma assembly.)

In recent years, Dharma centers and practice places have been established worldwide, promoting the listening to the teachings of the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche and using the teachings as the fundamental guide for learning and practicing Buddhism. In order to help the public better understand the true meaning of the Buddha's teachings, the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche's Office has mobilized many high monks and masters to transcribe the Buddha's teachings into written form, conducting extensive editing, proofreading, typesetting, and printing work, resulting in the publication of contemporary Buddhist scriptures. With the transmission of the teachings of the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche, the public can deepen their understanding of the Buddha's teachings through listening to the Dharma, reaching profound insights into the Buddhist scriptures and gaining immense benefits.
After the successful completion of the ceremony, the venerables from the World Buddhist Headquarters descended from the Dharma platform to sprinkle blessed water on the attendees, blessing them to dispel disasters and obstacles and to have auspicious health and well-being.
At the ceremony, attendees were able to purchase the newly published scriptures of the "Collected Works," which they eagerly read and studied. They expressed their intention to not only learn from the scriptures themselves but also to share the teachings of the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche with others, integrating the profound meanings into their daily practice, aiming for everyone to become morally upright and kind-hearted individuals.)
