The "Respectful Welcome of the Birth of Amitabha Buddha" event is presided over by the Vice Chairman of the World Buddhist Headquarters, the Venerable Master Jin Kou Er Duan Sheng De Zheng Da, with the participation of hundreds of believers from various regions in California and overseas.

The event was jointly organized by the World Buddhist Headquarters, the Holy Miracles Temple, and the Holy Grace Hall, with the participation of hundreds of believers from various regions in California and overseas.
The event began at 10 a.m., led by the Vice Chairman of the World Buddhist Headquarters, the Venerable Master Jin Kou Er Duan Sheng De Zheng Da, and other monks including the Venerable Master Jin Kou Yi Duan Sheng De Ruo Hui Yu. The assembly respectfully recited the "Amitabha Sutra" and conducted a grand offering before the Buddha, praising the virtues of the Buddhas through the chanting of scriptures, praying for the auspiciousness of the Buddha's birth, and seeking blessings from Amitabha Buddha and the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions to increase the blessings and wisdom of all sentient beings, promoting health and longevity, national prosperity, and world peace.
Amitabha Buddha is the "Western Amitabha Buddha" among the "Five Buddhas" in Buddhism, and is a disciple of the Buddha Namo Dajie Qiang Buddha, the founder of the ten Buddhas. Amitabha Buddha, while practicing on earth as the monk Dharmakara, made the "Forty-Eight Great Vows." When he fulfilled his vows and became a Buddha, he achieved the pure and magnificent Buddha land of the "Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss" and is now the master of the Pure Land.
