Explanation of the "Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" Buddha Name#
On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launch ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and it was then that people learned that the highly respected Master Yi Yun Gao and the Venerable Yange Yixi Nuo Bu Dafawang, who had always been respected by everyone, were recognized by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects and the living Buddhas of the world's major Buddhist sects. The third generation of Dorje Chang Buddha, the Buddha name is the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha. Since then, people have referred to him as "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". This is similar to the fact that before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Prince Siddhartha, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he changed his name to "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". Therefore, we now call him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". In particular, on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha). Since then, the title of Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha is also the legal name recognized by the government. The previous names "Yi Yun Gao" and the honorable titles of Master and Dharma King no longer exist. However, this news was published before the announcement of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha's Buddha name. At that time, people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha. Therefore, in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official naming of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that except for the name of H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, which is legal, the names used before the official naming no longer exist.

Special International Master Yi Yun Gao has made great contributions to humanities and other achievements#
Honored with dual recognition in California and San Francisco, USA, March 8th designated as Master Yi Yun Gao Day#
(Reporter Bai Mei Xiu Shi/Taipei Report) On March 8, 2000, Master Yi Yun Gao was somewhere unknown. Although he was not in California, USA, the positive and permanent impact of his visionary and inspiring insights and educational inspiration for humanity has shone brightly in California. At the same time, the city of San Francisco also declared this day as a commemorative day for the great master. To receive two master celebration days on the same day is truly the greatest honor among Eastern people. This honor is not easily obtained and requires a truly powerful and extraordinary figure.
Master Yun Gao is the most talented and virtuous generation of scholars in the world today and the most famous modern scholar. Based on his extraordinary achievements in Buddhism, Buddhist studies, Buddhist teachings, humanities, and calligraphy and painting art, 48 experts and 5612 scholars from the World Poets and Cultural Congress selected him as the only "Special International Master" in the world. The selection resolution was officially announced on September 15, 1994, in Hungary. The master's certificate was signed by the Chairman of the International Olympic Committee, Samaranch, and others. Master Yi Yun Gao is knowledgeable and virtuous, and has made outstanding contributions to cultural exchanges between China and the United States. In view of this, representing the will of the people, the government has built the Master Yi Yun Gao Hall. This is the first master hall in the world that was built by a first-level government, approved by the national administrative organization, and officially included in the national administrative system.
Master Yi Yun Gao is the most outstanding Buddhist master and painting and calligraphy artist in modern Chinese history, and his accomplishments in meticulous and freehand landscapes, flowers, figures, and birds and animals surpass countless historical painting masters. From the master's development of China's first-class tea - Biyu Chun and Bawang Chun, as well as medical drugs that have won multiple patents and first-class awards, one can glimpse the master's outstanding achievements in science. The master's remarkable achievements in Buddhist studies, philosophy, and ethical morality are admired and emulated by people all over the world. Whether it is the master's selected philosophical sayings or other works, they are regarded as important teaching materials internationally. The master's honors in other areas are too numerous to mention. In short, the master has reached the top position in various fields. It is precisely because of his outstanding achievements that he has been designated as dual master celebration days by the government of California and the city of San Francisco on the same day.
This is the honor that Master Yi Yun Gao has received again after receiving the honorary certificate of the world's top-level international master from the World Poets and Cultural Congress in 1995. It once again demonstrates his comprehensiveness and unparalleled outstanding achievements, and has won the most sincere respect from the American people.
It is quite extraordinary for Master Yi Yun Gao to receive these two honors on this day. It is not only a glory for the Chinese people, but also a joy for people all over the world. It is hoped that in the future, everyone can learn from the master, not only for their own benefit, but also for the people of the world to take a new step towards ethics, morality, and talent in the coming new century.
