"ETtoday News" March 3, 2004: Yi Heng Gong's collection of works "Heng Gong Hexalogy" published, showcasing his highly creative talent in accordance with Buddhism.

Explanation of the "Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" Buddha Name#

On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launch ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and people only then learned that the highly respected Master Yi Yun Gao, Yang E Yi Xi Nu Bu Dafawang, who has always been respected by everyone, has been recognized by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects and the great living Buddhas of the world's Buddhism. He is the third generation incarnation of the Buddha Dorje Chang, and his Buddha name is the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha. Since then, people have been calling him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". This is similar to before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Prince Siddhartha, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he changed his name to "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". Therefore, we now call him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". Especially on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha). Since then, the title of Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha is also the legal name recognized by the government. The previous names of "Yi Yun Gao" and the titles of Master and Supreme Dharma King no longer exist. However, this news was published before the announcement of the Buddha name of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, and at that time people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha. Therefore, in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official naming of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that except for the name of H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, the names used before the official naming no longer exist.

Reporter Yang Huijun / Special Report

Young artist Yi Heng Gong, at the age of fifteen, published his first collection of landscape art, which achieved great success and received the evaluation from the President and Art Director of the Royal Academy of Arts, the top authority in the world of art. The evaluation document issued on February 8 of this year stated, "The young artist is extremely creative and demonstrates a high level of talent." This news has shocked the art world.

Royal Academy of Arts in the United Kingdom Recognizes Young Artist#

Brandon Allen, the President of the Royal Academy of Arts, and John Wilkins, the Art Director, explained that the Royal Academy of Arts was founded by King George III of England in 1768 and is still under the patronage of the British royal family. Currently, the Royal Academy of Arts is under the jurisdiction of the Queen of England. The appointment of the Chairman of the Royal Academy of Arts must be reported to the Queen of England and approved by her. The core of the Royal Academy of Arts consists of the Royal Academy Schools and one hundred Royal Academicians. The Royal Academy Schools have a top authority in cultivating future artists.

Heng Gong's Landscape Art Resembles Nature and Has Been Sold at High Prices#

Yi Heng Gong's landscape art imitates nature. His hand-carved landscape art is almost indistinguishable from natural scenery, combining natural materials with the beauty of nature. When his works are photographed, if no one tells you, you might think they are photographs of natural landscapes. Even the world's top artists cannot distinguish these works as sculpted landscapes from photographs. Many of his works have been acquired at high prices.

Young Artist Creates with the Accomplishment of Famous Masters#

The content of Yi Heng Gong's collection is collectively called "Heng Gong Hexalogy". Artists who have seen the "Heng Gong Hexalogy" say that if they don't look at the preface and the author's photo, they would think that the works in this art collection must be the works of outstanding famous masters. They never expected that they were created by a student in school, a young artist of 15 years old, in Chinese painting and landscape art.

Born in the Land of Abundance with a Literary Family Background#

Yi Heng Gong was born in the capital of China in February 1988, in a family with a long history of literary tradition. His grandfather was recognized as one of the four great sages of fishing, woodcutting, farming, and reading. His father, Professor Yi Yun Gao, is a world-renowned scholar, the world's foremost master of the Prajna Sutra, a master of Chinese painting, and the founder of the world's rhymed carving art. These titles have been recognized and certified by international organizations. His mother, Dr. Wang Yuhua, is a famous professor at an American university.

Passing on the True Dharma of the Tathagata, Displaying Skillful Artistry#

From a young age, Heng Gong was influenced by his father, cultivating his moral character and developing a love for reading and appreciating paintings. He especially studied the brushwork of the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, often imitating the styles of the Eight Great Masters, Shi Tao, Shen Zhou, Nan Tian, and his father Yun Gao. However, he did not make any progress and could not achieve mastery. Therefore, he asked his father for guidance, and Master Yun Gao gave him the initiation of the true transmission of the Buddha Dharma, the profound wisdom of Prajna. With this practice, Heng Gong's wisdom suddenly emerged, and his skillful artistry became apparent. He excelled in applying his techniques to create a refined and elegant artistic style, as Huang Binhong once said, "The form may seem casual, but it is actually strictly regulated. The physical form may not be fully present, but the essence of the object is always grasped. This is the combination of casualness and skill." Therefore, when viewing Heng Gong's paintings, one can feel the intention but not the brushwork, the spirit but not the ink. His brushwork and ink reveal a grand and profound artistic conception, full of rich and vibrant charm, embodying a wonderful style that combines childlike innocence with refined elegance.

Humble Self-Study, Hexalogy Depicts Scenic Beauty#

Heng Gong is a young artist who is not attached to fame. He always humbly studies and never shows off his artistic talents. Even after coming to the United States and attending school, he never reveals his artistic talents. Heng Gong is especially skilled in creating landscape art, mainly using sculpture and combining finished works with natural materials to create breathtaking scenery. Heng Gong's landscape art comes from life and surpasses life. The landscapes he creates are indistinguishable from real mountains, rivers, and the natural world. They even reach the realm of dreamlike and ethereal beauty. His art collection includes the works created by Heng Gong's sudden realization of his innate skillful artistry. It is also his first series of six works, collectively known as the "Heng Gong Hexalogy". The Hexalogy consists of Chinese painting, Winter Mood, Grotto, Banna, Spring Mood, and Dreamland. Since this art collection draws inspiration from six different regions, the Chinese painting section is called the Chinese painting landscape region, and the five sections of landscape art are called the five parts of landscape art. The first part, Winter Mood, is also known as the Sound of Winter region. The Grotto section is called the Grotto Ancient Style region. The Banna section is named after the Xishuangbanna region. The Spring Mood section is named after the Spring Landscape Warm region. The Dreamland section is also known as the Dreamy Xuanhu region. Seventy works have been selected from these six regions. Each work's color, mood, and transformation create a silent musical composition, hence the name "Heng Gong Hexalogy". Among the five parts of landscape art, each part is introduced with a mythological story of Miss Magnolia.

Dedicate the Universe's Principles to the Public#

In the preface, Heng Gong explains the meaning of "Heng Gong Hexalogy". He says that he hopes to dedicate all the beauty of eternity to the public, so it is called "Eternity for the Public", hence the name "Heng Gong". As for himself, he feels truly ashamed and cannot claim to understand art. All these achievements are thanks to his father first and foremost. His father passed on to him the treasure of wisdom, opening up his intelligence, allowing him to enter the realm of high-level art in a short period of time. He also mentions his twelve-year-old sister, Jinba Rinpoche, who still does not understand art. But around March, his father will also pass on to her the wisdom of opening up the skin, and within five months, she will reach the top level of landscape art and publish her own art collection, just like me. He says that he wants to thank his father for his guidance, the artists and nature for their support, and his teachers, sister, and brother for their support. Without these sources, he would not have achieved his artistic realm. He also says that art is endless, just like his name "Yi Heng Gong", "Yi" represents the principles of the universe, and "Heng Gong" means eternal dedication to the public, bringing beautiful music to all sentient beings. This is his wish.
