Explanation of the "Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" Buddha Name#
On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launching ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and people only then learned that the highly respected Master Yi Yun Gao and the Venerable Yange Yixi Nuo Bu Dafawang, who had always been respected by everyone, were recognized by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects and certified by the living Buddhas. The third generation of Dorje Chang Buddha, the Buddha name is the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha. Since then, people have been calling him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". This is similar to before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Prince Siddhartha, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he was called "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". Therefore, we now call him "Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha". Especially on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha as His Holiness (H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha), and since then, the title of Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha is also the legally recognized name by the government, and the previous names of "Yi Yun Gao" and the honorable titles of Master and Supreme Dharma King no longer exist. However, this news was published before the announcement of the Namo Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha's Buddha name, at that time people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha. Therefore, in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official naming of the Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha in the news. But everyone should be clear that except for the name of H.H. Third Generation Dorje Chang Buddha, which is legal, the names used before the official naming no longer exist.
The pictures taken by the Yun Yun Gao Master's Yun Sculpture Art have been published and distributed worldwide by the International Art Publishing House, proving that Yun Yun Gao Master's Yun Sculpture works are unique treasures and the founders of three historically transcendent achievements. Recently, the Yun Yun Gao Master International Cultural Foundation, the International Buddhist Monks and Nuns Association, the Shengge Lecture Hall, and the Pujue Society jointly announced the launch of an activity to solicit replicas of Yun Yun Gao Master's Yun Sculpture works. The prize money is as high as 12 million US dollars. After this announcement was published in several newspapers such as the World Journal and Sing Tao Daily in the United States, it once again shocked the world, indicating that Yun Yun Gao Master has made unparalleled artistic contributions to humanity.
Yun Yun Gao Master's Yun Sculpture exhibition was held in Washington, D.C. on July 28th this year. At that time, it was organized by the American National Organization and invited members of the U.S. Congress and ambassadors from various countries to visit. The works exhibited at that time included magnificent stone blocks, mysterious mist in the stone, and high-ranking figures, as well as dozens of pictures taken of Yun Sculpture works. The praise was overwhelming, and everyone called it incredible.
This announcement was published in major media on July 8th this year. After seeing the works, some applicants thought that the technique was too difficult and canceled their replication plans. Some people also proposed that the prize money was too low and were unwilling to replicate, suggesting that the prize should be set at 10 million. So far, no one has dared to replicate, so the organizers have added participating organizations and increased the prize money to 12 million US dollars. The rules for replication are as follows: Yun Yun Gao Master provides the Yun Sculpture works "Yellow Yellow", "One Pillar Supporting the Sky", or "Mysterious Stone Mist". The replicas made by the replicators must be exactly the same as the original works in terms of form, details, naturalness, transparency, texture, mist phenomenon, color, etc. There should be no difference, neither more nor less. It is understood that the works selected by the organizers for replication are relatively simple in structure and have relatively uniform colors among Yun Yun Gao Master's Yun Sculpture works. Works with complex structures and infinite color variations, such as "A Stone Across Beauty", "Beautiful Jade in Bestowal", and "Magnificent Stone Blocks", are not included in the replication demonstration.
In the announcement, the Yun Yun Gao Master International Cultural Foundation, the International Buddhist Monks and Nuns Association, the Shengge Lecture Hall, and the Pujue Society pointed out that the master's Yun Sculpture works are not only the highest peak of human art surpassing nature for thousands of years, but also milestones in the history of human civilization. The emergence of Yun Sculpture art has made Yun Yun Gao Master one of the three founders of historically transcendent achievements:
First, he surpasses the existence and beauty of nature with his carving art. He is the founder of human carving art surpassing the natural formation of mountains and rocks.
Second, the pebbles carved by him have a marvelous transformation of heaven and earth in the stone cave, with auspicious mist and endless interesting gas. He is the historical founder who can carve gas.
Third, his works cannot be replicated by any skilled craftsman in the world using any scientific methods. He is the founder of sculpture art works that cannot be replicated in the world.
After the announcement was made, many people wanted to see the unique treasures of Yun Sculpture art and called the organizers. However, because these people did not really intend to participate in the replication activity, the organizers specifically stated that this Yun Sculpture works are only available for viewing by individuals who are interested in participating in the replication, and not for those who only want to watch without replicating. In the future, a special exhibition will be held for everyone to enjoy. In this activity, Master Yun Yun Gao himself only provides the original works and does not participate in this activity or accept any financial support from the organizers.
The detailed rules of the activity are as follows:
- Anyone who replicates Yun Yun Gao Master's Yun Sculpture works "One Pillar Supporting the Sky" or "Mysterious Stone Mist" and whose replicas are exactly the same as the original works in terms of form, details, naturalness, transparency, texture, mist phenomenon, color, etc., without any difference, neither more nor less, will immediately receive a prize of 6 million US dollars. If there are any differences that do not match the original works, the prize will not be awarded!
- For the convenience of the replicators, there are no restrictions on the tools, materials, and time used by the replicators. The weight of the replicas can be different from that of the original works.
- All expenses incurred by the replicators during the replication process shall be borne by the replicators themselves. The replicators shall bear any problems that may arise during the replication process on their own, and we shall not be held responsible for any liabilities.
- The original works are not allowed to be taken off the site. The replicators are not allowed to damage or soil the original works at any time.
- Any institutions or individuals who are willing to replicate Yun Sculpture works, please contact us in advance. After registration, a unified arrangement will be made for viewing the original works. If the replicators are willing to replicate after seeing the works, a replication agreement will be signed.
