Explanation of the "Third Dijie Qiangfo" Buddha Name#
On April 3, 2008, the book "The Third Dijie Qiangfo" published by the Global Buddhist Publishing House and the World Dharma Sound Publishing House held a solemn and grand launching ceremony at the Library of Congress in the United States. The Library of Congress officially collected this book, and it was then that people learned that the highly respected Master Yi Yun Gao, Yang'e Yixi Nuobu Dafawang, was recognized by the leaders or regents of the major Buddhist sects in the world and certified by the living Buddhas. He is the third incarnation of the Buddha Dijie Qiangfo, and his Buddha name is the Third Dijie Qiangfo. Since then, people have been calling him "Namo Third Dijie Qiangfo". This is similar to before Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, his name was Siddhartha Gautama, but after Shakyamuni Buddha became a Buddha, he was called "Namo Shakyamuni Buddha". Therefore, we now call him "Namo Third Dijie Qiangfo". Especially on December 12, 2012, the United States Senate Resolution No. 614 officially named the Third Dijie Qiangfo as His Holiness (H.H. Third Dijie Qiangfo). Since then, the title of Namo Third Dijie Qiangfo has been officially established. Moreover, the Third Dijie Qiangfo is also the legal name recognized by the government. The previous names "Yi Yun Gao" and the honorable titles of Master and Dafawang no longer exist. However, this news was published before the official announcement of the Buddha name of the Third Dijie Qiangfo, when people did not yet know the true identity of the Buddha. Therefore, in order to respect the truth of history, we still retain the names used before the official naming of the Third Dijie Qiangfo in the news. But everyone should understand that except for the name of H.H. Third Dijie Qiangfo, which is legal, the previous names no longer exist.

Recently, the media reported that the two siblings, Huang Xiaosui and Huang Xiaosui, from Hong Kong, were arrested for illegally mortgaging the original "Yi Yun Gao Master Hall" located at 22 Gunde Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong, to defraud a bank of 48 million Hong Kong dollars. Some readers do not understand the true situation and have spread rumors that have damaged the reputation of Master Yi Yun Gao and the Yi Yun Gao Master International Cultural Foundation. Therefore, the Yi Yun Gao Master International Cultural Foundation hereby solemnly declares the true situation.
The Foundation pointed out that the Yi Yun Gao Master in Hong Kong is not a tantric Buddhist temple, but an art exhibition hall mainly focused on calligraphy and painting, music singing, esoteric Buddhism, stone inscriptions, and life philosophy. The hall was purchased and donated by a Mr. Liu from Hong Kong to the Hong Kong Yun Ci Hui Hai Merit Society Limited, and it is not donated to Master Yi Yun Gao personally.
In addition, although the Yi Yun Gao Master Hall is named after Master Yi Yun Gao, Master Yi Yun Gao is neither a member of the board of directors of the Yun Ci Hui Hai Merit Society Limited, nor does he own any shares in the Yun Ci Hui Hai Merit Society Limited or the Yi Yun Gao Master Hall. He is also not a staff member of the Yun Ci Hui Hai Merit Society Limited or the Yi Yun Gao Master Hall, nor is he the so-called abbot. He has never been involved in the operation and management of the Yun Ci Hui Hai Merit Society Limited or the Yi Yun Gao Master Hall. Even on the day of the opening of the Master Hall, the Master did not attend the opening ceremony. Since the opening of the hall, the Master has only visited the hall three times, each time leaving within one or two hours.
In May 1999, Mr. Lin Huijiu from Hong Kong informed Master Yi Yun Gao that someone was using the Master's name to defraud money. The Master realized that damaging his personal reputation is a small matter, but harming everyone's interests is a big matter. Therefore, he rushed to Hong Kong and, in the calligraphy and painting hall of the Master Hall, in front of more than 40 students in Hong Kong, he requested that the students recommend trustworthy individuals to form a supervisory and reporting committee and set up a suggestion box. However, the leaders of the Yun Ci Hui Hai Merit Society Limited and the Yi Yun Gao Master Hall cannot be members of the supervisory and reporting committee, in order to facilitate the prompt investigation of individuals who harm the public interest. The Master also said: The Master Hall can only do good deeds and must not bring misfortune to everyone.
The entire speech of the Master was recorded by Mr. Li Zaitang from Radio Television Hong Kong Radio 5 and Mr. Feng Weitang. After the Master finished speaking and left, everyone immediately elected members of the supervisory and reporting committee through anonymous voting, with about ten members.
The next morning, Huang Xiaosui rushed to the hotel where the Master was staying and strongly demanded that the Master dissolve the supervisory committee and threatened to close the Master Hall. However, the Master firmly refused and pointed out to her: The members of the supervisory and reporting committee were elected by the students themselves to safeguard the public interest. I myself am not a member of the Master Hall and have no authority to dissolve it. As long as someone is honest and upright, what is there to fear from supervision?
After the Master left Hong Kong that day, Huang Xiaosui immediately deceived some people who did not know the truth and spread rumors to create trouble, defame the Master, and announce the closure of the Master Hall. Because the Master is not a member of the Yun Ci Hui Hai Merit Society Limited or the Yi Yun Gao Master Hall, he has no right to deal with the affairs of the Yun Ci Hui Hai Merit Society Limited or the Yi Yun Gao Master Hall. Since then, the Master has had no contact with the Yun Ci Hui Hai Merit Society Limited and the Hong Kong Yi Yun Gao Master Hall. This is the truth behind the closure of the Hong Kong Yi Yun Gao Master Hall.
The Foundation stated that in addition to Mr. Lin Huijiu informing the Master, Huang Xiaosui or other individuals fraudulently obtained money from others and deceived a bank of 48 million yuan by mortgaging properties, the Master did not participate in any of these activities, and he was not even aware that such a thing had happened until he saw the recent media reports. Furthermore, the Yi Yun Gao Master Hall in Dayi, Sichuan, was built by the Chinese government and is managed by government agencies. It was not personally built by Master Yi Yun Gao.
The Foundation greatly admires the noble morality and profound knowledge of Master Yi Yun Gao. Everything the Master does is for the benefit of sentient beings, without any personal gain. The statements in this declaration are all true, and we are willing to bear the relevant legal responsibilities.
