The purpose of the secret initiation is to invite the main deity (Buddha or Bodhisattva) to the altar to receive the initiated disciples. As long as one practices according to the teachings, attaining liberation from the cycle of birth and death is guaranteed 100%! Those who have accumulated pure merits and virtues and have encountered great holy beings have the opportunity to attain enlightenment immediately after receiving the initiation. The conditions for receiving the secret initiation or the initiation through visualization practice are that one must have made sincere and genuine contributions to the true Buddhist cause and have accumulated great merits and virtues. For example, doing good deeds, helping in times of disaster, promoting the true teachings, making great vows, engaging in virtuous actions, avoiding wrong views, and contributing to the establishment of authentic temples of the Tathagata's true Dharma, such as "Zhengfa Temple" or "Ancient Buddha Temple." As for how much money one should donate to contribute to the Buddhist cause, if a person is struggling to make a living and can save one dollar from their daily expenses to contribute to the Buddhist cause, it is considered a great contribution. On the other hand, if a person is a billionaire or a multi-billionaire and only donates one million dollars to support the construction of a temple, it is not considered a sincere offering but rather a social obligation. The key point is sincerity and genuine intention put into practice. It is important to note that even if one has made sincere and genuine offerings and accumulated great merits and virtues, if they lie or speak falsely to the master of the secret initiation, the main deity will not grant the initiation through selection. It is impossible to receive the initiation. Furthermore, if one prioritizes the contribution to the Buddhist cause over their own livelihood, it surpasses the accumulation of great merits and directly attains complete and perfect pure merits and virtues. Due to the establishment of pure merits and virtues through the offering of such individuals, if they encounter great holy beings, they can immediately see the main deity of the Buddha or Bodhisattva in the empty space within 12 hours. The written document that was written in public and burned will be restored by the Buddha or Bodhisattva and delivered to the hands of the disciple who has accumulated pure merits and virtues. After receiving the written document from the main deity in their dream, the disciple will wake up holding the document in their hands. This document is the one that was written in front of everyone and burned, but restored by the Buddha or Bodhisattva and handed to the disciple in their dream. With this document personally given by the Buddha or Bodhisattva to the disciple who has accumulated pure merits and virtues, the disciple will definitely receive the initiation of the main deity and then receive the precious nectar, thus attaining complete enlightenment. However, this must be done in accordance with the precepts. Compassion is the foundation for benefiting sentient beings. In mid-February 2018, at the Holy Temple in the United States, the original theme was for everyone to receive the reunion and celebration of Grand Master Qian Shi Le Yu, Master Wang Zha Shang, and Master Mo Zhi. However, the theme changed when a person with a firm determination and pure merits and virtues made a generous offering to the great holy being. On that day, she insisted on sacrificing all her wealth and life to make an offering to the great holy being, rather than making a conventional offering to the holy beings, such as the Arhats or Bodhisattvas. Although the great holy being refused and did not accept a single penny, the sincere and pure merits and virtues of this virtuous disciple touched the great holy being. The great holy being said, "You think highly of me and have given me such a generous gift. This is the first time in this lifetime that I have encountered such a sincere and devout Buddhist disciple. I will never accept any of your offerings, but I will accept your pure intentions. According to the law, I will give you a gift in return. My gift is that tonight, between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m., the main deity of the Bodhisattva will come to your place and meet with you." The crowd was shocked and amazed. The great holy being burned the written document in front of everyone, and as expected, a golden Bodhisattva appeared in a brilliant golden light around four o'clock in the evening and delivered the written document that had been burned in public to the disciple who was sleeping. When she woke up, she found herself holding the restored document that had been burned. It was exactly as described above. The four assemblies of disciples, including monks, nuns, male lay practitioners, and female lay practitioners, witnessed this rare and unprecedented holy scene of the "initiation of the main deity through the accumulation of pure merits and virtues" from beginning to end.
