The office has received some letters reflecting crooked ways, strange powers, violations of cause and effect, and the pollution of Buddhism with feudal superstition. At the same time, there have been inquiries about many Rinpoche and other identity teachers in society, whether they belong to legitimate Buddhism, whether they understand the Dharma, and whether they meet the qualifications of a teacher. The following announcement is made today:
Anyone who wears a Rinpoche robe, or a monk's robe, or holds the title of Acharya, including those who hold certification, regardless of whether this person is a recognized Dharma King, living Buddha, venerable, or certified by the International Buddhist Sangha Association, does not represent whether this certificate holder has a deep understanding of Buddhism, Buddhist studies, or the Dharma. It cannot be determined whether this person is a true Buddhist with correct knowledge and views. It must be measured against the 128 views. Only those who have not fallen into the 128 evil and wrong views are true Buddhists. This is the definite standard, there is no second standard.
Any Buddhist Dharma King, living Buddha, monk, Acharya, or other teachers, as long as they speak to the world, and include fortune-telling, divination, physiognomy, astrology, Feng Shui, I Ching, witchcraft, spirit possession, flying trapeze, Fuji, revealing banners, or the possession of Bodhisattvas and immortals as part of Buddhism, any feudal superstition, misleading sentient beings, harming sentient beings, or any other evil actions that violate cause and effect, as long as they are involved and mixed with Buddhist teachings, this person must belong to a false Buddhist sect or cult, or be a practitioner of strange powers, charlatans, witches, and the like!
In the current Dharma-ending period, anyone who holds a Dharma King, Rinpoche, or monk identity card cannot prove that this person is a truly qualified Buddhist teacher. Many of them are even lay Buddhists, so everyone must rely on the identity of the holy virtue, and more importantly, use the 128 views as evidence. Even if one has the identity of holy virtue, people must use the 128 views to verify that person. If there are any deviations, it means that person has different problems.
Correct cultivation should follow the teachings of "The Great Liberation Handprint" and "The Extraordinary Essence of the Perfectly Fulfilled" by H.H. the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche, as well as "What is Cultivation" as the absolute correct guide for Buddhist practice. This includes respectfully listening to the teachings and Dharma sounds of H.H. the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche, and studying the teachings of "The True Meaning of the Heart Sutra" and the Dharma door of the mind taught by Rinpoche! In addition, any teachings of Buddhism by any teacher must be verified and confirmed with the teachings of H.H. the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche and Shakyamuni Buddha. If they do not conform, they should not be heard, believed, or used!!!
