The United International World Buddhist Headquarters will soon hold the "World Peace Dharma Assembly" to pray for world peace and prosperity through Buddhist rituals. This is a significant event that everyone should be happy and congratulate. It is understood that besides the Buddhist rituals, the main focus of this conference is the teachings of the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche and the teachings of Gautama Buddha. As practitioners, during this conference, we should study the words and actions of the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche for the benefit of all sentient beings and dedicate ourselves to world peace as our own aspiration, in order to attain enlightenment and ultimate liberation. However, some Buddhists have deviated from the main focus and are preparing to use the achievements created by the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche, such as calligraphy, tea, medicine, technology, etc., to create products and set up stalls during the conference to sell to participants, even claiming that buying these things will receive blessings. It is commendable to promote the achievements of the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche, but the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche said that this kind of statement is off track, and Buddhists should rely solely on their own wisdom and correct understanding.
In this office, we would like to remind everyone that the gathering of Buddhist disciples from all over the world is to use everyone's devotion to pray for the blessings of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, to alleviate the suffering and disasters of sentient beings, and to bring peace and happiness to the world. We should sincerely focus our hearts on prayer and benefiting the masses. At such a serious moment, how can we not sincerely pray and instead engage in business during the conference?
Secondly, the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche has created many exquisite and unique achievements for humanity. These manufacturers or companies have obtained authorization from art galleries or relevant companies, and these things are no longer related to the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche. They have been authorized to design and produce various goods for sale, which is legitimate and legal. Bringing these achievements of the Buddha into people's lives and bringing them the enjoyment of beauty is also a very good thing, it is a merit! However, this office must clarify that the buying and selling that occurs during this World Peace Dharma Assembly has nothing to do with the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche, and the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche has not benefited financially from it. The Third Dzogchen Rinpoche said that the purpose of the conference is to pray for world peace, and everything should revolve around world peace and serve it. The World Peace Assembly must not be mixed with anything unrelated to praying for world peace. Everyone should be wholehearted and respectful, and contribute their own efforts to truly pray for human happiness and world auspiciousness.
It is understood that there are booths at the conference site for respectfully inviting Buddha statues, Dharma sounds, and Buddhist scriptures, as well as booths for promoting Wiser sports activities. Sports activities directly contribute to the physical and mental health of everyone, which is truly beneficial and should be supported.
Therefore, all Buddhists should always remember the teachings of the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche and always prioritize the benefit of sentient beings. Only in this way can one be a good Buddhist disciple, a good practitioner, and not waste one's life, and truly attain complete blessings and wisdom.
