Office of the Third Dordje Qiang Buddha Announcement No. 22

Recently, there have been some articles and comments on the internet by Buddhist disciples that do not conform to the teachings of the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche's Buddhist practice. In fact, these are all wrong and should not be mentioned, especially since there are people with ulterior motives who pretend to represent the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche and deliberately behave unethically. However, no matter who they are, they are sentient beings after all, and they are the objects of our concern. Their biased and distorted words have fallen into the trap of extreme views, so we are making this announcement.

First of all, everyone must understand that as Buddhists, we must follow the teachings of the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche and be peaceful, kind, compassionate, patient, sincere, and selfless disciples of the Buddha.

The Third Dzogchen Rinpoche clearly stated in "The Liberation Seal" that whether we are in happy times or in suffering, if we forget about the suffering of sentient beings, it means we have lost the bodhichitta and have deviated from the right path. The Third Dzogchen Rinpoche not only teaches us this way, but also practices it himself. The Third Dzogchen Rinpoche has been subjected to long-term attacks, but He has never harbored anger or insulted those who have harmed Him. Instead, He always silently prays, blesses, and wishes them well.

Therefore, if we do not practice according to the teachings of the Buddha, but instead treat sentient beings as adversaries and subject them to pressure, we have lost the heart of compassion and selflessness, and we are going against the behavior of the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche. We are no longer true practitioners.

As for the International Buddhist Sangha Association, it is about upholding the Dharma. This means that Buddhist disciples should establish right knowledge and right views, and benefit sentient beings through acts of great compassion and great kindness. When faced with evil views and actions, we should influence and help them with compassion, rather than treating them as opponents to be scolded. Practicing Buddhism requires unity and love. Differences in opinions and perspectives are caused by misunderstanding or misinterpretation. We should use our compassionate words and actions to influence them and let them see the truth. "The Liberation Seal" explains this very clearly. Sentient beings have been our relatives since beginningless time. No matter what mistakes they have made, we should forgive them. How can we insult or harm them?

Life is extremely precious. In this precious life, we can only sow the seeds of goodness and live a virtuous and beneficial life for others. This is what we should do.
