Today, we, the United International World Buddhist Headquarters, are here to announce a shocking event that has left us both sad and joyous. Our revered monk, the Supreme Master of the United International World Buddhist Headquarters, Elder Yin Hai, has completed his practice and left us. From now on, the world has lost a top-level great monk. The Elder passed away suddenly without any illness, and according to US law, a death certificate must be written by a doctor and submitted to the government for filing. However, the doctor could not find the cause of death, so he had to write "heart stopped beating" based on the facts. We cannot accept the sudden departure of the Supreme Master, and we are deeply saddened. But we are also joyous because the monk has returned to the Pure Land. In fact, on December 30th of last year, during the concluding speech of the Holy Examination, the Venerable Wangzha predicted publicly, "There is a holy monk who has dispelled darkness with his radiance, and he is the most respected supreme monk in the world today. He will leave us in mid-January next year and create an unprecedented miracle in the history of Buddhism. It is a great joy, and we should celebrate." Indeed, on January 15th of this year, Elder Yin Hai passed away. Venerable Wangzha specially composed a praise verse: "The venerable monk Yin Hai's virtues shine upon heaven and earth, dispelling darkness with his nine-eyed radiance. The great compassionate Bodhi leaves behind his name as a hidden sage, fulfilling his vow to return to the Pure Land. After the passing of the Supreme Master, his physical body underwent a great transformation, creating a new chapter in the history of Buddhism. We have been cultivating together in the deep mountain caves, and in the evening, we practice Buddhism together. As a disciple of the Buddha, I am ashamed compared to the venerable Wangzha. On February 15th, 2017." In addition to composing the praise verse, Venerable Wangzha also recounted the sacred deeds of the Elder, explaining how his great compassionate Bodhi illuminated heaven and earth, sowing the karmic affinity of the true Dharma of the Tathagata in the human world, allowing the Buddha's teachings to regain their righteous glory. He exposed the impure phenomena of the gradually chaotic and corrupt Buddhist teachings, false teachers, and evil cults that had emerged over the past two thousand years, allowing Buddhist practitioners to find the path back to the true teachings of the Buddha. After the passing of the Supreme Master, even his fingernails continued to grow, revealing a physical transformation that has never been seen before in the history of Buddhism, manifesting extraordinary sacred signs. The Elder's passing confirmed the prophecy of Venerable Wangzha. After the Elder's passing, seven disciples of the Buddha have been guarding his physical body day and night. Each shift consists of sixteen to eight people, reciting the Avalokiteshvara mantra without interruption for one minute. In addition, there have been three large-scale Dharma assemblies held on-site every day. From the tenth day, everyone saw the Elder's physical body gradually undergo a divine transformation, emitting fragrance and radiance. Venerable Juehui, Venerable Longhui, Venerable Xianggeqiongwa, Venerable Ruohui, Venerable Miaokong, and Venerable Longzhou Renbo all touched and pressed the Elder's physical body with their hands, only to find that it was as hard as stone. Everyone was astonished and praised the Elder. Venerable Wangzha was furious and rebuked them, saying, "This is simply nonsense. How can you touch and press the sacred body of the Supreme Master? The monks could only say that it was approved by the Buddha. Venerable Wangzha laughed and said, "Look at the article that Aqiulama wrote about Aqiongkanbu. Then you will know why it is not allowed to touch. Fortunately, the Supreme Master's spiritual realm is too high, so it has not been greatly affected. Otherwise, the unique miracle in the history of Buddhism would be lost. We can no longer act recklessly like this." The professional staff at the World Chinese Funeral Home also marveled at the service for Elder Yin Hai, saying it was truly miraculous. It has been more than twenty days since his passing, and not only have his wrinkles disappeared, but his bones and muscles have become full, as if he has become a different person. Even his fingernails have grown long. We have worked at the funeral home for twenty or thirty years and have never seen or heard of such a thing. The master's cultivation is truly remarkable! Although Elder Yin Hai has achieved such vast merits, he has never sought fame, fortune, or status. He has lived in seclusion in the deep mountains. The Elder once gave Venerable Wangzha a verse, saying, "Throughout history, many sages have been lonely, only the hermits leave their names behind. Do not commit evil deeds, only perform virtuous acts. Have a compassionate heart, free from evil and deception. The old monk is not a sectarian person, but his virtuous acts enter the realm of the Dharma. If you seek the highest peak of the true Dharma, follow me in bowing directly to the Buddha's teachings (the Buddha's teachings are the religion of all Buddhas in the ten directions, the true Buddhism of Shakyamuni Buddha, not the Buddhism that has been changed by later sects. The Buddha's teachings are directly connected to the Buddha, without any lineage or sectarian system)." The Elder also told Venerable Wangzha that the best and highest practice of Buddhism is the "Great Liberation Mudra." In fact, when Venerable Wangzha first met the Elder many years ago, he saw that the Buddha had descended. He asked the Elder for help in introducing him, but the Elder declined, saying that the Buddha was still young and had not yet opened the cause and condition for propagating the Dharma. Ten years ago, Venerable Wangzha finally followed Elder Yin Hai to study the Dharma under the Buddha's seat, entering the Buddha's teachings (the authentic Buddhism, not the lineage of the patriarchs, but the direct transmission from the Buddha). Venerable Wangzha said that in his early years, he practiced and studied with the Elder in seclusion in the deep mountain caves, learning many things from the Elder. The Elder possessed an immeasurable amount of holy power and great compassion and wisdom. He taught him the formation of the Vajra Array, which is not exclusive to the Exoteric or Esoteric Buddhism but is the direct Buddhism of the Buddha. For example, the eight great Vajras in the Diamond Sutra, the impure Vajra of the Tang Dynasty Esoteric Buddhism, the Kalachakra Vajra of the Tibetan Esoteric Buddhism, and the Mahavajradhara Vajra are all included in the Dharma. To which sect do they belong? They do not belong to any lineage or sectarian system, but directly to the authentic Buddhism. Therefore, it is the Buddha's teachings, not the lineage of the patriarchs. The Elder's holy power is extremely powerful. Venerable Wangzha once unintentionally saw the nine scars on the top of the old monk's head emit a bright light, illuminating the dark room as if it were daytime, allowing non-human beings to be instantly liberated. This happened in his early years. In his later years, he became close to the Third Dharma King of Namo, and received the highest level of empowerment and the supreme Buddha's nectar empowerment from the Buddha. Venerable Wangzha said that the old monk achieved the "Great Liberation Mudra and the Combined Cultivation of the Great Compassionate Victorious Red Avalokiteshvara," and has become a great saint who has returned to the Pure Land. In terms of the realm he has attained, I am ashamed. Although the Supreme Master has passed away, he has made great contributions to Buddhism with his physical body after his passing. This is an unprecedented miracle in history. Everyone can compare the photos taken shortly after his passing with the later photos of his divine transformation. You will see the extraordinary and majestic degree of his transformation. We can only say that it is extraordinary, majestic, and incomparable. The true Dharma has its source here. The sacred signs that appeared after the passing of Elder Yin Hai, as revealed by Venerable Wangzha, allow people to understand that the true Buddhism, the great Dharma that can bring liberation and accomplishment, is present in humanity, present in the Third Dharma King of Namo. You can see the two comparison photos of the Elder's physical appearance after his passing and his early years, as well as the couplet and the praise verse composed by Venerable Wangzha at the United International World Buddhist Headquarters.
