Now, the written examination on the 100 topics of the Vinaya is being conducted, and the registration is continuing. At present, one-third of the teachers have already passed the holy examination, and the remaining two-thirds of the candidates will complete the examination by the end of the year.
Since some people do not understand how the ranks are formed, everyone needs to understand that the ranks are based on the accumulation of the practitioner's own holy quantity in various aspects such as Buddhist knowledge, wisdom, propagation of the Dharma, virtuous deeds, achievements, and depth of practice. It is measured by the "quantity of practice and conduct", which is difficult for ordinary people to understand. Now there is an inappropriate analogy. Just as a person's physical strength can be measured by adding one kilogram at a time to see how much weight the person can lift, we can use the concept of positive energy recognized by the world to compare. Through the holy examination, we divide this "quantity of practice and conduct" (holy quantity) into points and establish standards. The final energy points are determined by the original self, and every 10 points of the quantity of practice and conduct correspond to a rank. It is not determined by humans, but by the original self. Therefore, the holy quantity of practice and conduct is an accurate and definitive standard, and now more than 100 people have confirmed this through the holy examination. Anyone who wants to take the holy examination must first pass the written examination on the 100 topics of the Vinaya, and then be selected and admitted by the Law Gate Palace of Dharma. They can start the examination from the Blue Rank. The Blue Rank can choose to take the examination individually, while the Gold Rank must have a holy quantity and level of practice to take the examination. The Black Rank is a small black rank added on top of the Blue Rank 3, and the examination method is the same as that of the Blue Rank. If the candidate can break through the barrier and enter the peaceful and happy land without being swept into the black realm by the eight winds, it means that they have passed the examination for the Gold Rank 1. However, if they enter the peaceful and happy land and are then expelled and involved in the cycle of reincarnation, unable to move, it means that they have failed the examination for the Gold Rank. However, they can obtain a black rank because they have already touched the holy land of the Gold Rank. It is very difficult to pass the examination for the Gold Rank 1, and one must have a considerable level of practice. If one has the qualifications of an Arhat or a Bodhisattva, there is no problem in passing. As for the great Bodhisattvas, they must have the level of practice to pass the examination for the Gold Rank 3. As long as they do not have the holy quantity of the Gold Rank 3, no matter what noble status the candidate has, they are definitely not a true great Bodhisattva, unless they can build an altar through stones, make prophecies, and pass the test of the hundred Dharma gates. In the Buddhist world, we often hear about many great masters, living Buddhas, and great teachers of the great lineage, who are called the reincarnations of great Bodhisattvas. This is a well-known fact. Are they all fake? The Supreme Wangzha specifically said, "Basically, they are all fake. They may not even have achieved the fruit of Arhat. Don't look at them as the head of a sect or a great master. Maybe they can't even pass the Blue Rank 2 or 3. If you don't believe it, you can try it. Their status is artificially exaggerated and praised. I have been in seclusion and cultivation for so many years, and I am still a monk with a false reputation. If they are Bodhisattvas, where are the five wisdoms? The Buddhist scriptures have clearly stated: 'Bodhisattvas are attained through the five wisdoms.' These people claim to be great Bodhisattvas, seriously violating the scriptures and betraying the teachings. They boast shamelessly and deceive people. Since they claim to be great Bodhisattvas, can they pass the written examination on the 100 topics? Can they achieve the level of practice to pass the examination for the Gold Rank 3? They have no shame at all!" In recent years, I have heard many people say that certain great masters or living Buddhas have great supernatural powers and can perform sacred rituals of the Dharma Protector, possess the Five Thunder Vajra, have the Avalokitesvara's Great Compassion Empowerment, the Vajra Pestle Samadhi Fire for removing obstacles, and other abilities. Another person said that the living Buddha also has the ability to remove obstacles, the Dharma of manifesting the realm of death and rebirth, the Dharma of removing black karma, and the Nine Lotus Lamp for investigating karmic debts and resolving obstacles. A certain Rinpoche said that they have defeated many high-level practitioners in battles, and these battles have been reported in the newspapers. There is also a monk who can fly in the air, truly possessing great supernatural powers. The Supreme Wangzha said, "You people are so ignorant! First of all, have you understood the three stages of each of these Dharmas and what kind of holy realm phenomena they manifest? Therefore, you are bound to be deceived if you do not understand the realm manifested by each of these so-called supernatural powers. Why didn't you think about why these so-called powerful people don't take the effort to pass the examination for the Gold Rank 1? Let me make it clear to you. As long as a practitioner obtains the Blue Rank 2 or 3, or is a truly devout Buddhist who encounters a teacher with those abilities, they are qualified to receive the teachings you mentioned. I am not unfamiliar with those Dharmas. Those Dharmas are divided into three stages. If they can bless the public and make people manifest illusory phenomena and movements, it is the stage of arising. They can bless the public and make people enter a certain realm on the same day. This is the stage of arising. However, it cannot be said that their supernatural powers are mature or strong. They must reach the stage of perfection. For example, the Vajra Empowerment can make the Vajra move in the hand. This is the stage of arising. The stage of perfection must be able to fly in the air in public. This is the necessary manifestation when returning from the Pure Land. If they cannot fly in the air, they are still in the initial stage and have not achieved the level of practice to give the inner secret empowerment to disciples. Even if they can fly in the air, it is the empowerment of the Dharma Protector, not the true inner secret empowerment of the original self. The true inner secret empowerment of the original self must be performed five meters away from the teacher, with the Vajra Pill moving in the disciple's hand and performing the dance of the Vajra Pestle, and there must be 'mother Dharma water' to perform the inner secret empowerment. For example, the Great Compassion Avalokitesvara Empowerment can bless the public and make everyone enter a certain realm on the spot. This is the stage of arising. The stage of perfection must be able to cultivate the Bodhi Yangzhi Holy Water through the Great Compassion Avalokitesvara Empowerment, and the Empowerment Master shouts where the holy water should go, and it flows in that direction. This is the stage of arising and perfection. As long as one reaches the stage of arising and perfection, one can pass the examination for the Gold Rank 3. The Bodhi Holy Water (mother Dharma water) is indispensable for the inner secret or superior inner secret empowerment! Because this holy water is the necessary Dharma water for the inner secret empowerment, and the descent of the Buddha's nectar is the mother of the highest and supreme realm of practice. Those who can cultivate the Bodhi Holy Water are the true great Bodhisattvas! Previously, the Third Dharma King of the Third World, Guru Dorje Chang, has always disagreed with us using the quantity of practice and conduct to help educate and benefit sentient beings. He said that we should understand it from the perspective of Dharma principles and practice it in our actions. Many of us have not fully understood the words of the Buddha Master. Recently, I heard the teachings of the Buddha Master's "Learning Buddhism" three lessons and gained great benefits. It is truly unprecedented and profound. It is the supreme and highest Buddha Dharma. No wonder the Buddha Master said that He used the quantity of practice and conduct to examine the teachers, and He did not participate or agree with it. He said, 'Do not do evil, do good, and if you really want to achieve something, read "The True Meaning of the Jie Xin Jing" and practice the two essences of "The Great Liberation Hand Seal". Only then can you truly learn and practice Buddhism.' This is the view of the Third Dharma King and the view of all the Buddhas in the ten directions.
If you want to truly understand the level of achievement of a teacher, you must determine it based on the ranks of the examination. You need to see the teacher's rank and attire. This is the touchstone for testing the level of practice, and it is 100% accurate without any mistakes. It is precisely because of this certainty that the couplet at the entrance of the Eight Winds Formation dares to state, 'The weight is exactly the weight, don't try to add more weight. Each rank is displayed one by one, don't think about advancing ranks.' Now this couplet has been thoroughly proven to be accurate, proving that the holy examination will not have the slightest error! Up to now, more than 100 teachers, masters, Arhats, living Buddhas, Dharma Kings, venerables, who have taken the written examination, have experienced the holy examination of the Eight Winds Formation. They are outstanding elites selected from hundreds of thousands of Buddhist practitioners. They all want to obtain the Gold Rank, but among these hundreds of outstanding elites, only 2% have passed the examination for the Gold Rank 1. It is estimated that the performance of the candidates who will take the next step will be even worse in the future. The reason is that the important figures have basically completed the examination, and everyone is taking the examination under the same conditions in public, watching each other. Who wants to lose face? Who doesn't want to pass the examination for the Gold Rank? Who is willing to be inferior in front of the public? They have exerted all their efforts and put forth all their possessions and level of practice, but there is no way. In the end, they still cannot advance as stated in the couplet, 'Don't think about advancing ranks.' Basically, they are swept into the cycle of reincarnation by the Eight Winds Formation when they are entering the Blue Rank 2, unable to move. It is already very difficult to pass the examination for the Blue Rank 2 or 3, and it is estimated that only one out of two to three thousand Buddhist practitioners can pass the examination for the Blue Rank 1. It is also worth mentioning that the teachers who have entered the holy examination have achieved ranks that are consistent with their written examination scores on the 100 topics of the Vinaya. Their scores are basically on the same line, and the ranks they have obtained must be completely consistent with the secret gua of Manjushri Bodhisattva that they secretly cast. These three examinations can be unified on a standard data, what does this indicate? This indicates that the level is indeed the level, it cannot be lower or higher, it is accurate, and those who do not read the announcements are to blame for being deceived. Although I should not say this as the headquarters, it is the truth. It is better to say it to remind everyone.
