In the entire Buddhist community today, it is difficult to find true saints among the certified and certified holders of venerables, dharma kings, and great living Buddhas. On the contrary, most of them are frauds, evil teachers, and ordinary people pretending to be saints and holding certification! Moreover, the identities they hold as certified reincarnations are either certain great venerables, dharma kings, or even certain great bodhisattvas. When we calm down and think about it, we realize that they lack the five types of knowledge and are far from being proficient. The sutras say that bodhisattvas possess the five types of knowledge, so why did they become certified as great venerables, dharma kings, and great bodhisattvas? When we delve into their motives and purposes, it is not difficult to discover that they are all fakes. They all have a common characteristic that cannot be avoided, which is using various means to take other people's money and even forging false holy deeds to deceive others. This chaos in Buddhism, where ordinary people pretend to be saints, has prompted me, H.H. the Third Dodrupchen Rinpoche, to say that "it is normal. Shakyamuni Buddha said long ago that this is in line with the phenomena of the end times as described by Shakyamuni Buddha. Among the so-called high-level reincarnated saints, including some of my students that you all know, it would be good if 3 out of 100 are true saints, and the remaining 97 either violate precepts and revert to being ordinary people or are frauds, or even demonic beings claiming to be saints. The people who certify them are ordinary people themselves and have problems. Your examination of saints is very correct and can prevent ordinary people from mistaking evil teachers for saints, thus protecting Buddhist practitioners from choosing the wrong teachers. However, even if you determine a true teacher of holy deeds through the examination, you still need to verify their behavior against the 128 views." H.H. the Third Dodrupchen Rinpoche's words are subtle and precise, and they reveal the fact that there are too many fake saints and too few true ones. Unless they have achieved the level of a two-star sun and moon wheel, they have not reached the level of a non-retreating bodhisattva. Therefore, pedestrians must be cautious and careful. For reincarnated dignitaries such as venerables, dharma kings, great living Buddhas, and great masters who do not hold the certification of holy deeds, they must be questioned, regardless of the reasons they give. After all, they do not have the three teachers and seven certifications or the seven teachers and ten certifications to guarantee their examination. Because of the chaos in the entire Buddhist community today, ordinary people, frauds, and laypeople have all come out claiming to be saints and great bodhisattvas, or claiming to have certain qualifications. But in reality, 99% of these people are fake saints who deceive others with lies or pretend to be something they are not. This is the chaos in today's religious society. As H.H. the Third Dodrupchen Rinpoche said, even if we only determine based on the range of holy deeds, only 3% are true, and 97% are fake saints. Good pedestrians, have you really encountered the 3% of true holy deeds? Even if they are true holy deeds, they are at most arhats. Even if they have reached the level of arhats, if they fall into the 128 views mentioned by H.H. the Third Dodrupchen Rinpoche, they will also regress. Therefore, in order to prevent pedestrians from being deceived, we provide information for everyone to consult about holy deeds. If you want to be 100% sure about the holy deeds you rely on, whether they are genuine, half true and half false, or fake holy deeds, please remember not to believe in who is the reincarnation of Buddha or bodhisattva or who has senior qualifications according to the certification.
